"Baby, please!" I plead. I'm trying to go out with a friend to the park but Jenna is refusing.
"Please just stay with me? This is the only time off we get together." Jenna begs.
"Okay. I love you baby!" I say, running to the counter to grab my keys and purse. I dart through the door and go to my car.
I get an incoming call from my friend.
"Hey have you left yet because I'm here.
"Almost there." I say hanging up.
Once I arrive it's a bit of a struggle to find my friend.
"Hey Y/N!" My friend screams out of no where and when I turn my head I'm greeted with someone running towards me.
"Oh, uh hey" I say quietly
"Is everything alright? Or did I just scare you?"
"Oh no everything fine! Now come on."
We walk towards the entrance of the park while talking.

We finished talking about the proposal.
"What if she says no? What if she's been cheating? What if she.." I ramble
"Okay, cut it out. Jenna loves you so much and you know that. Plus she probably thinks you're cheating right now. So just call her, and tell her to get her ass over here!"
It's only encouraging whenever my friends try to encourage me.
I take my phone out of my pocket and call her.
"Hey baby" She picks up the phone, sounding like she's been sleeping.
"Oh, did I wake you up? Or..."
"No you didn't," She says giggling a bit, which makes me smile "I was just laying down, but what do you need?"
"Uh.. Well.. Can you come to the park for a little bit? Don't ask questions, I'll send you the location. Bye baby, love you!" I hang up the phone and sigh.

We've been waiting about 4 minutes, but my friend and I have just been goofing around. I only realize Jenna is here because my friend points it out.
"Hi" I say quietly
"Hey love," She says while wrapping her arms around my waist and pulling me in for a kiss. "So what did you need me for?" She asks
"Well, just close your eyes." I say
I pull the black box out of my purse and look back at my friend for encouragement mouthing "Should I?"
And my reply is a thumbs up.
I take a deep breath. "You can open now,"
I get on one knee as she opens her eyes.
"Jenna Marie Ortega, I want you in my life forever. You are the reason behind my laughter and smile. You are my world. You are the one I wanted to find, to tell you that I need you all my life, from this day on till I die. Will you marry me?"
"Yes! Of course I'll marry you Y/N!" She says crying, happy tears though.
I get up and put the ring on her finger while she pulls me in for a kiss.
"This is the best day of my life" I say, relieved.
