The abandoned madhouse

Chapter 1

Okay so before I begin the story I just have to sort out some things.

1. I ship Ash and Chris so don't judge me. And yes I know that they're just friends irl. But I just think they're so cute together!

2. I wrote this in class for almost a year ago so try to ignore any spelling errors.

3. This is a pretty short story and it's only this, no sequel.

4. This hole story is written in Ash's POV except one little part that's in Chris's POV. But in that chapter I'll promise to wrote that out so it doesn't get to

confusing.

I wake up with a terrible headache and a pounding feeling in my whole body. I don't remember anything, just me partying all night with some friends, we were at the newly opened club called ''The Slayer'' in town.

I slowly stand up and tries to figure out where I am. Trees reaching for the sky and gravel that crackles under my feet are the first things my brain localize. The icy autumn wind strokes my arm and I shiver. Between some of the spruce trees that surround me and divides me and the glade from the world I see a big building.

I start walking in that direction. The building grows in front of me as I get closer. My head is just chaos and it doesn't get better with my enormous headache.

I stop in front of a black car that's parked on the big gravel yard in front of the building. I try to open the car door but it's locked. I look through the window and realise that I know this car! It's my best friend Ricky's. Tears start to form in my eyes when I remember the last time I met him, two years ago, we had a fight. Then he left me at the street and a few days after he was missing. I was the last one to see him after his disappearing. Maybe he is somewhere near? Hope start to form in my chest and I look back on the huge building in front of me. The avenue of trees reaches several kilometers behind me and I can't see it's end. I decide to find a way in in the building and perhaps I can find Ricky and the car can take us both home.

I take a few steps up the stairs in front of the big house. It looks like an abandoned mental hospital, it's old and plants has started to grow up the walls. Some windows are cracked but I take a deep breath and tries to open the rotten door. After a few attempts the door gives up and opens with a loud creaking noise. I walk through the door and enters a big hall with cracked marble floor and white marble pillars. I can't see the edges of the room since shadows are playing in the corners. The middle is lit from upside and a spiral stair is raising from the ground. I walk up the stair to the second floor on my way to try and find Ricky.

I walk down one of the deserted corridors when I suddenly see someone laying on the floor in the end of the dark corridor. I start walking faster with hope that it's Ricky. But when I make it to the person I see it's a woman. When she hears my footsteps she turn her head against me, still lying on the floor. When I see her face I gasp, it's Ella, Ella Cole. She was in the same class as me in high school and she was one of those bitches who always picked on me and my friends. But then she started flirting with my childhood friend Jake and they started dating.

''RUN!!'' Ella whispers.

''What? No, I'm going to find Ricky.''

''RUN!! They're going to find you!'' I take a step back from Ella. It seems like she has lost her mind.

''Why don't you run...'' I begin to ask but when I look down where her lower legs would be I almost puke. Her legs are ripped of just about below her knees. It's blood everywhere and I don't understand how I could've missed it. ''Ella... What happened?''

I can't stop staring at the blood on the floor. I hear a muffled scream coming up from Ella's throat and when I look up on her face again, it's filled with fear.

''RUN!!'' She tries to scream but I can hear that the fear is only making it to a hoarse whisper.

I turn around to see if it's something behind me. In the beginning of the corridor, the way I came from, I see a big black shape. It's one white eye stare at us and then the creature start to come closer. I stand frozen in fear but then Ella finally make a scream and I stumble back and fall out of my paralyzed terror. I fall and hit the bloody ground and I look at Ella, terrified of the big black creature that only comes closer and closer. Ella is sweating and trying to crawl away. I quickly stands up and begin to help her.

''Don't.'' I look at her with an asking look. What does she mean? ''Help yourself, I'm dead anyways.'' I just stare at her. Is this so called bitch being nice? Is she sacrificing her life to save me?

''Just run, please. For me.'' Ella is begging me now when she sees that I'm hesitating. I only look up and to see the creature less than ten meters from here. ''Say to Jake that I love him.''

And then, I start to run. I run down the hole hallway before I look back at Ella.

I wish I haven't done that because the creature has stopped at her body and her face is turned to me. She's only mouthing the words Bye Ash.

Okay I hope you enjoyed it!

One last thing that I forgot to point out is thatI'm not really a fan of Jake Pitts (in Black Veil Brides) being together so that's why I picked her to be the woman laying on the floor when I wrote this story.

But now when they've broken up I'm not so sure what to feel or think. But yeah I just wanted to make that cleared out.
