The abandoned madhouse

Chapter 2

She's only mouthing the words Bye Ash.

Then the monster destroys her, tearing her apart, eating her raw flesh like she was an animal.

I run.

I hear that it's following me so I don't stop running. I run through dark corridors, empty big rooms and past mental cells

Then suddenly I run in to something and hits the ground. I start kicking and screaming in fear that it's the monster that I've runned into.

''Hey, it's okay. It's okay.'' a voice says. I stop screaming and just sit still. I slowly lift my eyes from the ground and looks up. I just stare into a pair of brown beautiful eyes.

''Wait... Isn't you one of Ricky's friend?'' The guy asks me and I just nod. ''I'm Chris.''

''Ehm... I'm Ash.'' I say. He nod.

''I know. Come on, let's get out of here before it comes.'' I nod again and with Chris's help stand up. His tall body is warm and makes me feel safe already.

We walk down several hallways and I watch him in secret while we walk. His hair is long and black and his tree lip piercings is shining in the dark light. His long face and nose is very pale as the rest of his skin. The brown eyes is almost lost in all the black eye makeup that he's wearing.

Chris opens a door and I walk in. It's a big room with several beds. I see around five peoples that sitting in the middle of the room and talking. All of them turns around when Chris closes and locks the door, now it's no turning back.

''ASH!!'' Ricky's voice ends the awkward silence. He runs up to me and wraps his arms around me. I just stands there and taking in his scent. I allow myself to let go of everything and just focus on Ricky.

Slowly, the adrenaline is leaving my body and I'm starting to feel very dizzy. My hangover from yesterday make it presence felt and when Ricky let go of me the whole world spins. And then everything becomes black.

Chris's POV

I watch her sleep in the bed and I think of when I found her in the hallway. She was so scared and I didn't want her to suffer. And when we walked back I knew that she was looking at me but I let her. Just the thought of her eyes on me gave me butterflies in my stomach. And I didn't want her to stop so I just walked beside her and tried to ignore that my biggest crush for like forever was looking right at me. And now when she lays there at the bed it's me that's looking at her instead.

Her half black, half red hair lays like a halo on the pillow around her head and I just want to sit here for hours, just studying and try to memorize every single part of her.

After a while I realize that her hazel brown eyes is looking back at me.

''Hi'' she says with her angelic voice and sits up on the bed.

''Hi Ash.'' I smile at her and she answers with a huge dazzling smile.

''Where am I?'' She asks me. Oh... How should I tell her?

''Actually, I really don't know.'' I say as it is. I mean yeah we're in an abandoned mental hospital but that really doesn't answer the question.

''So it wasn't a nightmare then.'' She says and lays back down with a sad expression on her face.

''Unfortunately not.'' I give her a small smile but she doesn't respond. She's just looking on the roof and I see that she's lost in thoughts. And even if I know she don't want me to ask her about what happened before I found her, I have to.

''Sorry about asking... But what happened before I found you?'' Her face goes from no feelings to panic and sorrow in seconds. But she answers me, even if it's hard for her.

''I woke up in the woods and saw a big house. When I came closer I saw Ricky's car and I thought that he was in here. I walked through the door and up the stairs. I walked through lonely corridors till I found Ella, a girl in my high school class. She told me to run but I didn't understand why. Then I saw that half of her legs was missing and it was blood everywhere...'' tears had streamed down her face while she was talking and she took a deep breath before she continued. ''I looked behind me and saw a black big creature with one white and one black eye. The creature also had a big cape on and it only came closer and closer. I tried to help Ella but she just told me to run. So I did. And when I came to the end of the hallway I turned back... What I saw... I just want that picture to go out of my head. I should've dragged her with me. I should've saved her. But I just run... The monster was eating on her! And I couldn't do anything, it was too late. So I just ran...'' her voice faded and it became quiet

''And then you ran into me?'' I asked with a low voice. She just nodded. I felt the pain and sorrow grow in my body. ''It was Joshua... The creature was Joshua...'' Omg Balz what have happened to you?

''No way...'' she said ''But... He is yours and Ricky's friend right? He isn't a monster!''

The picture of Joshua being dragged by a black figure and then the scream that Joshua made when the figure leaned in and bit him, making him to a monster. Joshua... Is gone... Forever.

Ash leaned in closer to me, our lips where just about to touch when she stopped moving closer. I just breathed in her scent and we breathed the same air for a couple of seconds. Then I connected our lips. She answers with pressing her lips against mines and kissing back.

But unfortunately this story is pretty soon over.

And I know it's so short but I just wanted to share it with you guys!

So it's like one pretty long chapter left (or I maybe do two shorter chapters).
