this is a fictional story, so the world cup is over, and judes teammates for dortmund are his teammates from the world cup. for this story everyone on the team is going to be around the same age. this is my first book 😭 so i hope you like it and enjoy!

when jude was in middle school, he had been sat next to elle in english class. ever since then they have been best friends. they would both do everything together. go to the movies, play football, make up dances, paint each others nails, and hang out almost every weekend. everything.

jude became really good at football and wanted to pursue his dream. dortmund had seen him play and wanted him to join their club. jude was so excited. but joining a football team meant he had to leave chicago and go to england. jude was born in england, but had to move because of his fathers job.

since jude had to go to england, that meant he had to leave his friends. he didn't want to leave them but pursuing his dream was first in line.

jude had grown very good at football. top of his club. to the point where he was able to join the world cup.

elle never forgot him. she missed him. he was her best friend. but since he was famous, he probably forgot her. elle decided to text him, since she still had his number.

hey jude, i hope you still remember me but, i've missed you a lot. i know you've been very busy with the world cup and your club. but maybe once you get the chance you could come back down to chicago!

of course i remember you elle. how could i forget? and yes, we need to hang out again. how about i come down in two weeks?

those two weeks went by fast. jude had flown down from england to chicago. it was a long flight for him, but it was worth it. elle was in college, but she was on winter break for three weeks.

once jude had arrived at the ohare airport, he got a uber and got driven down to elles campus. they caught up for awhile. they still laughed at each others jokes like they were in middle school again.

jude had told her about his teammates and how they talk almost everyday. they had a group chat so they could communicate. elle wanted to be in it to say hi to his teammates.
