"SELEENEEE" the muffled yelling voice of my sister, who seemed to not want to shut up outside of my door. I toss over in my oh-so-comfy bed and reach over to check the time on my phone sitting on my bedside table
6:34 am
God dammit Rachel.
I sit up annoyed at the Burnett still outside my door who is still yelling my name,
"Oh my god," I raise my voice to let her know I'm awake "you do know I have my alarm set to 6:45 on school mornings right?" I say getting up to let her in
"Oh I know I just needed your opinion on this before I'm late," Rachel says gesturing to her outfit, she wore a tight white tee shirt with a grey flannel along with my black mini skirt.

"It's too basic, needs accessories. Also-is that my skirt I've been looking all over for that?" I say as she barges into my room and makes her way to my jewelry.
"Oh get over it, besides your never gonna guess who I'm going out with," she says with a sly smirk playing on her face

My demeanor changes as I already know precisely who asked my lovely sister out "hmmm, let me take a wild guess" I say pretending to think real hard " maybe a pretty redhead who goes by Lilly?" My sister starts giggling like a complete maniac before jumping on my bed
"Can you believe it? I didn't even have to ask her! She asked me!" She says excitedly

"Yes I believe it she's been into you since you started working at the shop," I say walking into my bathroom and starting the shower

"Okay well, good talk. I have to run some errands before brunch" she says leaning against the bathroom doorframe,
"When will you get home tonight?" I ask brushing my hair and getting ready to take the most sensational shower ever

"Probably around 9ish, I've got some plans after work." She wraps her hands around herself and starts to back away from the door as I grab a towel out of the cupboard and hang it next to the shower "Love you always" she says leaving my room, I make sure to say by to my sister and begin to get ready for the day.

Selene and her best friend had a free period at the end of the day, they always spent it the same. First, they would go to The cafe Rachel works at and get hot chocolate, then go to Selene's house and smoke a lot of weed. You could call it traditional to their friendship,
"do you ever think about how fucking weird this town is?" Damon says trailing behind Selene who was leading him to their favorite sesh spot in the woods behind her house
"Please, almost every day. By now I'm convinced it's cursed" she says looking back at her friend
"No, but literally, I think there really is something up with this place." He says as they reach their destination
"I just think you need to smoke," the girl says pulling one of the joints out of the oversized leather jacket she was wearing.
The boy smiles and takes the joint from her hand followed by a lighter,
"You know me too well," he says lighting the joint before passing it to Selene.

Selene and Damon had been sitting cozy in their spot in the woods for about 40 minutes now, nothing ever not lit.
Right now they were admiring the beauty of their surroundings, talking about random things about school, and Selene nagging Damon to ask out that one lacrosse player,
Selene was sitting with her eyes closed enjoying the silence around her.
"Do you hear that?" Damon says bringing her out of her trance
"Hear what?" She asks listening to whatever he's hearing
"Here follow me," she says getting up to find the sound, she follows still listening
"Oh shit, it sounds like someone's fighting," she says quietly. The two stop and look at each other with the same knowing face
"Am I thinking what you thinking" Damon suggests with a convincing look on his face
"Well if your thinking we should totally become spies and do what spies do?" She says and returns his convincing look "then I'd say we had the same brain"
The two followed the noise till they found the source, now they were hiding behind a tree facing a big half burned down creepy looking house
They could still hear the voices but they needed to get closer and find who they were hearing, they make their way to the front of the creepy house to see a familiar blue Jeep parked near the gravel road along with a black Camaro Selene couldn't recognize. Finally, they got close enough to see who was yelling.
