"I had so much fun today, Ajax!" You laughed as you and your best friend walked down the hall to your room. You caught a glimpse of your boyfriend, Xavier, peering around the corner, and whispered, "I'll text you later, okay?"

Ajax nodded, catching sight of his jealous friend. "See you soon." He hugged you tightly and bade you goodbye, walking the other way.

You entered your room, humming happily, leaving the door unlocked for Xavier to enter. You busied yourself with sorting out some assignments on your desk. You back was to the door, which made your boyfriend think you wouldn't notice him when he opened the door.

You heard him enter and said, "I know you're jealous, X."

He mumbled something and replied, "I'm not jealous." He plopped himself down on your bed and asked, "Why would I be jealous?"

You turned around and leaned against your desk, arms crossed as you raised an eyebrow, "So you're not jealous that I spent the entire day with your friend? For the fifth day in a row?"

"Nope, nope. Not at all." He shrugged, trying to look indifferent. You chuckled at his antics and replied, "Okay then. I guess I'll make another plan with him tomorrow." You grabbed your phone and began texting Ajax, seeing Xavier get more and more uncomfortable.

"Meet...up...at the...Weathervane...tomorrow...for...coffee...at...five?" You read out each word as you typed, till he finally gave in.

"Okay, fine!" He admitted. "I got a little jealous."

"A little?" You raised your eyebrow, deleting the message and setting your phone aside.

He rolled his eyes, "Fine, a lot."

You laughed and turned around, grouping your math and science assignments properly, not registering Xavier creeping up to you from behind. You turned around once you'd stapled them properly, expecting him to be still seated on your bed. You gave a little start of surprise upon seeing him towering over your slightly smaller figure. (While he was a six foot two, you were a pleasant five foot six. )

He placed his hands on either side of you, palms resting on the desk as he said in a low voice, "You know I don't like getting jealous."

You chuckled and put your arms around his neck, saying, "Well, in my defense, I didn't do it on purpose."

He rolled his eyes and placed his hands on your waist, pulling you into him as he replied, "Doesn't mean I have to not feel jealous."

"Hm...maybe it does." You shrugged, eyes darting down to his lips and back to his eyes.

Without another word, you felt his lips on yours. It was so sudden, that you inhaled sharply in surprise. The kiss was aggressive, and you felt his grip on you getting tighter as he pulled you impossibly closer to him. You deepened the kiss, and it turned from aggressive to a lust-filled embrace. Your hands tangled in his hair, and the sheer force of the kiss made you tilt your head back.

He pulled away to kiss your neck, leaving several marks there. Each one made you sigh as you felt the familiarity of his lips on your skin. It had been a year since the two of you had begun dating, and you thought you'd be used to this feeling. However, each kiss sent sparks down your spine.

Xavier suddenly stopped, moving away to sit down on your bed. "Well," he said, "Now that we've started something, let's finish it." He opened his arms to beckon you in, and you did sit on his lap, allowing him to capture your lips in yet another kiss, as he drew you into his magnetic embrace.
