"Wait." Jimin bellowed running behind the taller male, picking up his backpack, he made his way out the classroom.

He was so grateful towards this atypical stranger, that he could do anything to show his thankfulness, maybe even do 100 push-ups for the latter. These were those once in a blue moon moments which actuated him to live further.

It may be more than gratitude, but well, he doesn't want to admit it.
But a question was meandering in his mind.... why would yoongi save him?

At the moment, Yoongi was putting his books in his locker and scanning the said void for any dirt. He had an unbothered aura, as if these events were a mundane thing in his life.

"Thank you Yoongi, it means a lot to me, that you saved me from them." Jimin was huffing a little from all the running. He never was the athletic type.

He continued, "Although, I can't seem to understand the motive behind your act of kindness for a nobody like me, I am truly grateful you stood up to help me." Jimin voiced out with sincerity, directing his eyes towards the said male.

Yoongi shut his locker and turned towards the shorter one, his mind wandering towards the thought of nobody ever standing up for the short male. His eyes had a hint of hazel screaming genuineness, with his dirty brown hair cutely falling above his eyes.

Did I just think he was cute?! What the actual fuck?

Yoongi shook his head a little, shrugging off the useless thought.

"No need to thank me nerd, I just wanted to save your arse so you cannot abscond from our project, which in that case, I would have been doing it single-handedly." yoongi replied nonchalantly.

"Oh" jimin mumbled, frowning. So it was for the project. Right. What was I thinking?

However, jimin was still filled with gratitude. No matter what the reason was, at least someone cared enough to save him. Yes, he was that much miserable.

"Nevertheless, still. Thank you Yoongi." jimin said raising his head back, with the most beautiful smile, yoongi ever saw.

The way jimin's eyes turned into crescents, the way his rounded cheeks pulled up, and don't even get started on that nose.

Yoongi was sure, he swallowed a lump, which had formed without his knowledge. His expression softened for a second, before he shook his head.

"Whatever. Just remember to come to my house today, at 5pm, for. the. project." Yoongi emphasized every word, and strode off to the basketball court, pretending as if nothing happened, while his heart was maybe saying otherwise.

Jimin blinked his eyes standing there.

He's weird. Jimin thought.

Jimin went towards his locker opposite to yoongi's. Whoa, when did he reach his locker.

Oh well, it was close to yoongi apparently.

Keeping his books, he turned and screamed. "OH GOD WHO THE FU-?!??!" jimin put his hand on his heart, his whole body jumped.

Taehyung was standing behind jimin the whole time like a statue, with a sheepish smirk. He moved back. They got some stares from students around.
Jimin was so angry at taehyung he could've killed him right now.
