How She Met the Gang (Part 4)

As the group finishes up their deserts, and pay for their bills, they start to head out of the restaurant. Averi is the first to exit as she's pumped about bowling.

Averi: WoOOO I can't wait to bowl, it's been awhile since I have.

She is walking in a faster pace than everyone, upbeat and humming to herself with a hop in every step.

Takamura: chuckles Wait up Averi, your leaving us behind.

He catches up to her and able to slower her pace by starting a conversation...

Kimura: I'm still thinking about Takamura-san's response toward Aoki....

Aoki: I wonder what got him so weird about Averi, it's so abnormal him being nice.

Ippo: I doubt he's gonna stay like that for long, but maybe... do you think it's what happened to Averi that's got him acting like this? Maybe it was an intense situation that he wants to make it up to her...

Kimura: sigh it could be, but I still want to milk this as much as possible before Takamura-san uses one of us on his "showing off" games...

Aoki: Well.....

Ippo:... I don't think those "womanly tactic routes" will work on Averi...

Kimura: ...and what you said, Ippo, about Averi still confuses me

Ippo: Well it's true, I guess I can already pick up her "character" if you get what I mean.

Takamura and Averi are sneezing back to back ahead of them and the guys are too absorbed into the convo to notice..

Kimura: When you put it like that it makes more sense..

Aoki: Now that I think about how similar Averi behaves compared to Takamura-san, do you think she's putting up a "nice" act too??...

Kimura: Don't tell me we're gonna have two bullies now.....

Ippo, Kimura and Aoki look toward Takamura and Averi nervously, and barely notice their sneezes.

Takamura: sniffs What are you guys muttering about?? Damn what's wrong with the air here, we're sneezing up a storm!

Averi: sniffs aAaRgghh my nohse as she rubs it

The others catch up to Takamura and Averi, but the two are still ahead of them.

Aoki: laughs nervously nothing, just excited about going bowling!

Kimura: whispering please no please no please no please no with his hands together

Ippo: thinking to himself "..well I don't see Averi NOT being a bully...but I feel like she's going to be fun to hang out with..."

Takamura: Now that we're out walking... I don't want to seem like a buzz kill, but we passed that alley where your ex was knocked out, I didn't get to take a look if he was still there....

Averi: Oh yeah, I had completely forgot about him laughing why you ask?

Takamura: Well uuhh.... I-I wanted to give him a piece of my mind for treating you like that he said with a big chest

Averi: HAH yeah, we could've taken turns on his sorry ass

Takamura: BAHAHAH I like your style

Ippo: I also don't want to be a buzz kill, but what did he do to you?

Averi: Ah well.. the usual, physically and verbally lashing out when I try to assert myself when I'm in the right. That's why its difficult for me to date in general cause I somehow get with people who are toxic..... but in this situation......

sigh

Kimura: What? Are you in danger??

Averi: ....well I'm not sure... it's just that he knows where I live...and I'm kinda not in the mood to beat his ass again...and to make matters worse, I know the type of person he his and he'll probably bring his buddies...

Ippo: Why would they try to gang up on you?! It seems like a major disadvantage for a woman!

Takamura: Well after giving him that right hook, I'm assuming you have a fit bod under there. He's a coward trying to overpower you with other guys to help him, every fight should be a one on one fight. It's disgusting.

Averi: Well to him physical altercations don't matter in fairness, he just wants to be on top.

Aoki: Don't worry Averi! We got your back, no guy would want to mess with you with four professional boxers to back you up!!

Averi: Yeah I know

Kimura: Wait- you knew we were boxers?

Averi: Yeah

Takamura: And you didn't say anything?

Averi: Ye

Ippo and Aoki: ...uh

Averi: I only recognized you guys were the boxers I've seen in the magazines until I sat down with you guys for a bit in the booth.

Aoki: Till later on??

Averi: Yup

Takamura: "Maybe that's why she was staring at me when I was laughing, she barely had figured out then".

Uuh.. well what Aoki said, we have your back, just let us know when you think your unsafe and we'll be there!

Averi: Thanks you guys... OH and Ippo I'm assuming everyone has said this before, but seeing you in person I didn't think you were a boxer, no hard feelings.

Ippo: ah It's okay I get that alot

Averi: Your face just looks so squishy and you have kind eyes so its kinda hard to see you intense without actually seeing you fight.

Ippo: Blushing k-kind eyes? I've never heard that compliment before hehehe

Averi: Like come on squishes his face just look at the guy

Ippo: EeEuGH aBverii nat tu harrd

Takamura, Kimura and Aoki laugh and make fun of Ippo's appearence, also messing with his face.

Ippo: OhW Ow nOw yur just hurhting me!

Out of instinct Averi picked up Ippo and started to run with him to try to prevent further teasing from the guys, but she also wanted to cause more chaos.

Ippo: H-HEY AVERI!!

Averi: laughing like a manic away from everyone

Kimura: Yup, just like Takamura

Takamura: BAHAHAHAH THIS CHICK IS SOMETHING ELSE

Aoki: Is she trying to test us?! We won't let her get away with a head start!!

They bolt after her

Kimura: Huff How the hell does she have the energy to run that fast after a heavy meal??!!

Aoki: My stomach is hurting man oh god

Takamura: You pansies, she's getting away!! We're not gonna let Ippo have all the fun!!

Ippo: HOw far are you gonna run with me Averi??! My stomach is getting a bit upset...

Averi: Suck it up, I think I see the bowling place!

Ippo: groans

Averi: We're close right?

Ippo: groans y-yeah I think so...
