Chapter 2

I can hear them whispering in the hall they are talking rather loud but just quiet enough so that I can't make out anything they say.

I hear the door handle jostle and turn my gaze to the doorway. Levi enters the room first followed close behind by Toby. "Scarlett," he said, "When can you start?" My heart was racing, I was sure they wouldn't hire me by this point. "Tommorow is the soonest I can start working." I stutter a little. "Can you move in tonight?" Toby asks. "Move in?" I ask. "Yes, the job was for a live in cook, did Lauren not tell you?" Toby says. "No she didn't, but I can start moving in tonight." I respond. "Well you should get packing" Levi says in his deep seductive voice.

They lead me down the stairs and to the door. "When should we expect you back?" Toby asks. "I should be back around 9 and then I will make you both a nice meal."

Levi shuts the door behind me and I walk to my car. I proceed to drive home.

I get home and proceed to collect a suitcase of the things I'll need. I grab some clothes, makeup, and a few other important things folding them and placing them into the suitcase. By the time I was done my suitcase was almost to full to zip up.

I draged my bag down the stairs of my apartment complex and to the parking lot. When I get to my car I realize I left the car keys inside.
