I guess he saw it too because he pulled me to him wrapping his arms around my waist. “Why wouldn't I be here Y/N is my wife ”. The look that crossed her face was priceless but she was smart enough to hide it quickly. “How about we talk over dinner ” my father said walking into the dining room. Dinner was going well until that witch decided to open her mouth.

“Y/N Brian has been visiting often looking for you ”. I looked at her . I knew what her game was.“Who's Brian again?” , She knows that I don't back down “Your boyfriend ”. “Hmm I Don't know why he would be ,I spoke to him earlier today ”. That was a lie I was locked in a hotel room all day with H/N being fucked senseless all because I slammed a door. He didn't say anything,  he and my father continued their conversation.I started listening when I heard my name was mentioned.

I was listening and from the way they spoke her stepmother wasn't a fan. “  This is Y/N's last semester, after her finals we'll be going to Paris ”. That's when her stepmother decided to butt in. “ But Y/N already has plans, she's going to be interning at my friend's company”. I put my fork down and looked at her. This woman needed yo understand exactly what was happening her. “The only place she'll be interning at is my company, matter of  fact,I don't even want her to work ,but she'll throw a fit so she'll work wherever she wants and do whatever she wants ”. That look of hatered in her eyes said it all. “And what if she just wants your money?”.
