Chapter 1: Will I Ever Get Out of Here?

Lidia's flashback- When I was five my mother and father died in a hunting accident and I was left to the mercy of the Moonstone pack. Let's just say they were never merciful. One day when I was six I accidentally broke a plate while washing dishes and my punishment for that was for Alpha Jackson to give me a lashing for every shard of glass that was on the floor and unlucky for me that plate shattered into 50 pieces or more. I still have the scars on my back from that but of course it doesn't help that whenever I do something wrong or if the pack is just bored I get lashings. It's been twelve years now and the only things that have changed is my age, my wolf kallie, and how much worse the beatings have gotten. End of the flash back

I'm finally eighteen and got my wolf kallie. She has been nothing but kind since she's arrived and I just wish she had a better human half than me. But nonetheless I am still very grateful that the moon goddess gave me her as my wolf. Kallie is a gold wolf with bright yellow eyes. The only way I know this is because she showed me through our mindlink.

I wish I could let her out but I'm not allowed to because Alpha Jackson said that if I were to ever shift he would kill me. I've been thinking about it and death won't be worse than what I already go through. So after midnight I will sneak out and shift. *She falls asleep*

I wake up just before the clock strikes midnight. I'm ready in three minutes and I quickly jump out of the small window in my very small room that my pack gave me the day my parents died. I could only fit through it because of how small I am. Once my feet hit the ground I grab my stuff that I already threw out before I jumped out of my window. As soon as I had my stuff in my hand I ran as fast as I could towards the forest. As soon as I got there I shifted and it felt amazing to finally be free of that terrible place.

After 1 hour of running I start to panic because I'm not sure how to make it on my own. Even though they made me into their personal slave and torture piñata I think about going back but then kallie yells "don't even think about it girl. You're finally free from those awful people"
I look around and say "yeah your right kallie" then kallie starts going faster. "What's wrong Kallie, why are you going faster?" "There is someone behind us and its someone we know but im not sure who" she says doing her best to go faster. "Who is it" I ask scared it was Alpha Jackson. Kallie sniffs the air and then stops. "Why did you stop" I ask cunsernd that something happened to kallie.

But before she could answer another wolf jumps on us and not wanting to see them rip my throat out I close my eye. But instead of feeling teeth rip into my throat I feel a warm tongue against my face. I open my eyes to see my best friend lena Alex's wolf. Alex is the only one that was ever kind to me after my parents died she would sneek into my room and give me food after everyone elsa was asleep because they hardly ever remembered to feed me and when they did it was just one small pice of meat, apple, and water. Kallie let me front so i could talk to Alex and her wolf. "What are you doing here Alex?" I asked happy to see her.

"I went to go see you before everyone woke up and when I seen you where gone I decided that I would come find you so I could say goodbye." She says. "I was going to say good bye but I couldn't risk getting caught by alpha Jackson." I say as I look down as a apology. "Its ok Lidia I under stand if I was you I probably would have done the same thing" she says as she puts her muzzle to my cheek. "Thanks Alex" I say as I lift my head up. "I need to go before they notice i'm gone" Alex says as she puts her forehead to mine as a goodbye. "Bye Alex I'll miss you" i say as she runs off back to her pack.

After she is out of sight I let kallie take control again so she can continue running
