Chapter 2: The Rouge Alpha

It’s been a week, and I’m close to death because I haven’t been able to hunt and I ran out of supplies two weeks ago. So far I’ve been living off of berries and what few animal carcasses that I've found and those have been few and far between.

I would hunt but I'm too weak. I was weak before I left my pack because of malnourishment but now It's even worse. “So I guess this is it Kallie this is where we die,” I say all out of hope. “No, we can still make it. You didn’t go through all of the pain you have for all those years just to die just because you lost hope.” Kallie says trying to encourage me to continue. I try my best to carry on for Kallie but I collapse in a clearing. “We need to go right now Lidia,” Kallie says to me. “Why?” I ask, trying not to show how much I just want to give up.

“A stranger is coming towards us,” She says, panicking. I try to get up and run but I can barely move my legs so I just lay there. “I’m sorry Kallie you deserve better,” I say, letting a tear fall. “It’s ok Lidia, I’m just happy we got to meet.” Before it goes black I look around and see a black wolf but before I could see any more details everything goes black…

When I wake up I’m in a really pretty bedroom and instead of being naked, I’m in a t-shirt that is almost a dress on me. I look around in amazement but then Kallie says “How the hell did we get here and where are we?” That's when I start to panic but then I smell something amazing. I Look over to the bedside table and there is a big piece of steak with potatoes and a roll along with what looks like a glass of apple juice. I start to walk over to it with my mouth almost watering.

“Don’t you dare what if they poisoned it?” Kallie says “You're right but why would they save us just to poison us,” I say sitting on the bed. “You're right, Lidia, but we still need to think about getting out of here before they decide to kill us.” She says sternly. Before I could respond someone came into the room. I quickly jumped up higher on the bed. The guy that comes into my room is kinda cute. He has black hair and blue eyes and he’s about six foot and he’s built somewhat like a pro wrestler.

He smiles at me and says “It’s ok I’m not here to hurt you I’m just here to cheek up on your wounds" I look at him and slowly move closer to the edge of the bed. “o…ok “ I say hesitantly. He slowly walks closer to me so he won’t startle me “Also my name is Bobby I’m the rouge pack's doctor and Bata.” He says with a smile. “I’m Lidia. I came from the Moonstone pack,” I say, smiling back at him. He checks my wounds and patches them up. “Well I should go, My sister will be here to bring your dinner later,”

He says as he gets up from the bed and opens the door. Before he closes the door he looks back and smiles. Once he’s gone I think about what he said “The Rouge pack.” as I start to think about it. It finally clicks. The rouge pack is one of the three strongest packs in the world. I also remember hearing some of my old pack mates talk about how handsome their alpha is.

They say that he’s really tall, about six foot two with hair as brown as milk chocolate and blue eyes as deep as the ocean. As I'm deep into my thoughts, someone comes in. "Hi Lidia, I'm Bobby's sister Lilly. I brought some dinner," she says with a smile.

I look at her in amazement. She is beautiful, she has black hair with evergreen eyes. "H…hi and thank you for the food." I say shyly. "Alpha Everett wanted me to tell you that he wants to meet you for dinner tomorrow night. He said that he would be here tonight but he's a little busy with alpha work." She says smiling.

"H…he wants to m…meet m….me" I say trying not to sound scared. Lilly smiles and nods “well I should go see if my brother needs me. Also the alpha will be sending you three outfits for you to choose from.” She says smiling as she walks out the door. “OMG!!! The alpha wants to meet us.” Me and Kallie scream in unison. “I can’t believe we're going to meet the alpha.” Kallie says excitedly. “But what if he doesn't like us?” I say looking down at the floor.
