Chapter 5 - The Moment Of Truth

"im sorry" she said wiping the tears in her cheeks.

She took a deep breath. In.. out.
Continued to do this til her breathing clamed and her body also calmed down in the depths of the cushions of the fallen sun's chair. Once she calmed down she started reading the letter.

"Dear Morticia Frump. I suppose it is time to tell you the truth."

This does not sound good..

"By the time you read this im already gone. But there things you already knew, and there are things you would rather forget."

Morticia inhaled sharply leaning her head back at the chair preparing for something.. something that would hurt her to the core..

"For me, they've been constantly haunting me. Dragging me down the depths of hell. I cannot bring them with me into my grave. Regretting. Regretting that i should have treated you more."

"Oh Larissa.. silly, silly Larissa.." the broken witch said her voice breaking. Her hands were shaking.

"You must have regret it but. I am so thankful. That you stayed by my side. No one has ever gotten this close to me. For me i am thankful."

"Larissa.. please don't do this to me now.." her voice.. was so weak..

"The memories we had each other, the times we stayed up late talking about our future, the times we danced every night in the starry night, the times i wanted to tell you how i felt about you."

Oh no..

"Morticia Frump, Morticia addams. I love you. And i will always love you. Til we meet in the other side. I do hope you'll forgive me."

Those words.. those words that she waited for so long.. tears starting flowing like a waterfall.. she stood up, went to the balcony ignoring the cold wind shivering her whole body. Looking down at the quad from high above crying her poor broken heart.. she needed fresh air.. her breathing started to get messy, she could barely breath..

A sudden warmth came over her shoulders.. it was.. Larissa..

"Tish? Are you ok?" The transparent Larissa said of her worried face. That familiar expression. While holding a transparent coat around Morticia.

Her soothing touch.. her warmth.. so warm.. so familiar.. Morticia ignore the cold embracing the warmth of her friend..

"Tish.. c'mon, let's head back inside." The transparent Larissa hold her shoulder holding her and leading her. Morticia followed her to the couch at the fire place lighting it up to warm her up. The transparent larissa sat across her smiling so devious look at her.

"Good job." The transparent larissa was disappearing.. all she could do is stare at the emty seat across her.. processing on what happened gomez barged in out of breath.

"Gomez? What's going on? Why are you out of breath?" The lone raven said confused. Taking a deap breath..

"She's alive! Mi amor!" Those are the only things he can say taking another deap breath. "Larissa!" He said. Morticia looking confused..

"Larissa? What are you talking about? Mon amour?" She said not understanding what his husband is saying.

"Larissa is alive mi amor! She's at the quad." Gomez said.

"Nice try my love.. she's gone remember?" She said still not convinced for her husband's words. Larissa? Alive? Please. She's gone. She did(?) Saw her at the grave before she was buried. Gomez took her wife's hand and dragged her. Morticia followed her husband still not convinced that her bestfriend is back to haunt her again.

[ At the door of the quad ]

Morticia hears crys on the other side wondering what is happening. What's going on? Why is everyone crying behind this door? Is she really alive? Hesitant, not wanting to open the door. Her husband open it. There she is.. surrounded by her students crying, hugging, and smiling in front of a blond tall woman. Larissa..

"Larissa is.. alive!? How- how is that possible..?" She thought.. but how? SHE was at her casket before she was barried.. how is she here..

Larissa was so focused at the students in front of her she didn't notice that Morticia was standing there looking at her. She looked at Morticia shock in her eyes. She immediately looked away at her gaze trying to leave from the bodies of students surrounding her smiling at their beloved principal.

"Larissa.." the crying crow whispered. Slowly walking towards her. The scared sun tried to leave but the students surrounding her stopped her. As the moon walks by the students making an opening for the moon to see the sun. The sun looked away fear in her eyes.

"Larissa.. is that really you..?" She whispered her hand reaching Larissa's cheek. The sun flinched as the moon cupped her cheek.

"Seems like i ruined the surprise.." the sun said in her usual tone.

"Issa.." the moons face was about to cry again. Covering her other hand with her face, while the other hand that cupped Larissa's cheek made it way to her shoulders. Gripping it. Tightly. As if she is angry. Larissa noticed it and immediately lead Morticia to her office.

"Tish.. i can explain.." the suns voice worried that the moon in front of her will be mad.

"Explain..?" Her voice was deep and cold. She is mad. "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE CRIED FOR YOU!? DO YOU KNOW HOW SILLY IT WAS TALKING TO YOUR GRAVE EVERYTIME?! I WAS BASICALLY CRYING AND TALKING TO NOTHING!"

"WELL IM SORRY! I JUST HAD TO ALRIGHT?!" The sun was in rage. "IF i died for real who's going to take over? The board probably will replace me with a selfish rat. The reason i did it is to PROTECT nevermore and it's students from a far, if it does come to that I'll reveal myself." The sun walks by the moon angerly to her desk. The moon stops her by grabbing her wrist. The sun stops by her tracks.

"What going yell at me more? I told you, i was doing it for nevermore." The suns tone became cold and irritated.

The moon was silent for a while before hugging the tall sun before her. "No.. im just glad your ok and alive. And.. i love you too.. im sorry it took years to respond to you issa."

"Sigh im sorry.. it must've hurted a lot.. heh seems like you read the letter." The sun said in her calm tone hugging the woman below around wrapping her long arms around her neck. "You know.. i never stopped loving you tish.." they both were silent as they embraced each other.

Hm. How interesting. What will happen in the future? What are they now? What about about Gomez Addams? What will he think about the sun and moons relationship? Haha, guess we'll never know..
