chapter four

I was at school walking with Nancy and barb while barb was testing her for a test.

Steve and his friends came out of nowhere, he had ended up taking the cards from Barbs hands.

"I think you've studied enough nance." Steve said

"Anyways my dad on a conference and my mom's gone with him, cuz you know she doesn't trust him." he said

"Good call" Tommy said

I just rolled my eyes

"So are you in?" He asked

"In for what" she asked

"No parents? Big house?" Carol said

"A party?" she asked

"Ding, ding, ding"

"It's Tuesday." she said

"It's Tuesday!" Tommy mocked while laughing with Carol

I hit his shoulder

"Shut up Tommy." I said

"Wow someone's feisty today."

I just ignored him

"Look it will lowkey. It will just be us, what do you say? Are you in or are you out?"

"Um" she was about to say something

"Oh, god. look." Carol said

They all turned to see Jonathan putting up flyers of will

"Oh, god, that's depressing."

"Should we say something" Nancy said

"I don't think he speaks."

"How much you want to bet he killed him?"

"Shut up." me and Steve both say at the same time

I was about to walk over there but Nancy beat me to it.

We all just waited till she came back

I was at home in my room drawing and I heard the phone ring from downstairs so I went to pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Mae come with me." I heard Nancy say

"Go with you whe- wait no I'm not going" I said

I was confused at first but then I realised what she was talking about

"Pleasee"

"Why can't you call barb." I asked

"I did but I want both of you to go with me."

I was about to say no again but I realised that if I didn't go and only barb did then she would most likely be left alone and I didn't want anything to happen to nance so I said yes

"Fine I'll go."

"Yayyy"

"I'll drive my car over there, okay nance."

"Okay."

"See you later."

I went to get get changed really quick then got my jacket then left

Later on I arrived just as nance and barb did

we all walked to the door and nance knocked

"Hello, ladies."

Barb and Nancy walked in

I stared at Harrington for a moment then rolled my eyes and walked past him
