Chapter 13: The Gala

Rainbow's P.O.V

Ughhhhhhhhh, right now I'm getting ready for the Gala thing and Rarity, I mean Rarity, JUST WOULDN'T STOP BEING SOOOO ANNOYING WITH HER GIRLY GIRL SAPPY MAKE UP STUFF... "No. More. Make. Up." I said very annoyed, "NOOO I have done your mascara yetttt!!!" Rarity wined. "I DON'T CAREEEE!" I yelled angrily, while mocking her, "Grrrrrrrrrrrr...... JUST LET ME DO YOUR MAKE UPPPPPP!!!!!" She yelled at me giving me that very scary face of hers... "Jeez, okay okay whatever..." I said trying to be calm about all this make up business... I felt like she put 1000 layers of that stuff on me, but she said it was the just "THE ESSENTIALS OF MAKE UP" or whatever, so she just put on the basics like, blush, foundation, mascara, etc. You know the rest, anyways after that, I wore my dress that Rare made for me, it was light blue and, had a tiny lightning bolt in the corner, like my cutie mark, there was also so clouds at the end of it like my last dress with the rainbows and gold shoes, and for my shoes they were white, I had a pretty simple outfit, but I'm not complaining, at least it's not pink...

TIME SKIP TO 6:00 PM

*Ding dong!*

Ugh, I'm coming... Who could be at the door now, I was almost done with putting on my heels, "He- Oh my god... I mean, hey gorgeous, you look stunning..." Soarin said while blushing, "Uhh Thanks, you too I guess." I said while trying to hide my blush from what he has said before. "Shall we go?" He said, "Yea I just need to finish putting this hee-" I started to say "Let me... I'm pretty good at putting on heels for people, I do it all the time with Navy." He said while helping me out with the white heels, "Uhh um, thanks, hehe" I said while blushing, "Ok done, let's go now!" Soarin said while opening the door for me, we entered the limo and when I was looking out the window when I suddenly felt somepony put their hoof around me, "SOARIN WHAR ARE YO-" I yelled, "Um, well I thought you just might have needed some company, hehe, uhh hehe... " He said while backing off, "Oh sorry." I said and allowed him to put his hoof back.

Okay we are here now! I'm so excited because, uh, yeah, I'm just excited! "Darling, you're here!" I heard somepony yell, which was probably Rarity, er um, Rarity, obviously no one else besides her and her friend Diamond say "Darling" like that, "Uh, hi Rare!" I said, "Ooooo, I see your busy, with your date, hehehehehe!" Rarity giggled, "What do yo-" "SOARIN!" I yelled frantically, because I saw Soarin had locked hoofs with me, without me even noticing! "Sorry beautiful, but if you didn't know this is what boyfriends do." He said while winking again, making me a blushing mess...

Then Rare left which left me and HIM all alone probably just what HE wanted... And OF COURSE, it was now slow dancing time, Then Soarin grabbed me by my waist and hoof and started to dance with me, well if course I totally tried to refuse but he totally forced me.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin, sitting in a tre-

"Uh hey Rainbow?" Soarin whispered in my ear while still dancing with me, "Huh?" I said confused, "You, okay? You sorta zoned out there for a sec..." He said worried, still dancing with me. "Yeah, I'm fine, just perfect..." I said not realizing it. "Like you... I MEAN UH..." Soarin said freaking out, I just giggled and put my hooves around him, I saw him blushing, but I knew that boy was enjoying it, I saw some jealous girls in the crowd looking at me like I was their dinner... Then the song ended and...
