The dinner party part 2

After leaving Dream and my parents I made my way over to this unknown woman she was on her phone not paying anyone attention I grew nervous as I made my way to her
' I don't think I can do this' I thought to myself
The little confidence I did have went out the window with one thought I felt myself getting anxious

I was about to turn around when I did I saw Dream looking at me
"You can do this" she mounted
I nodded my head and took a deep breath
' ok what would Dream do' I thought I said it over and over again until I finally made it to the table

The woman looked up at me I slowly started to get lightheaded
' Nature get your shit together' I said to myself
I smiled and pulled a chair out
'Introduced yourself asshole' I heard a little voice in my head say

The woman was waiting on me to say something I smiled and began to speak
"Nature" I said holding my hand out
"Samantha" Samantha said while shaking my hand I smiled at how soft her hands were

'Ok now what?' I thought to myself
I guess I'll ask her the normal question
"So how's your evening going?" I said while lining up on the table
"It's going great now that you're here"Samantha said copying my exact moves
"Is that so.... Well Samantha would you like for me to make your night even better and dance with me?" I said letting my accent fall through

Her blue eyes darkened just a little I wouldn't have noticed it if I wasn't staring so hard
"Sure love" she stood up and held her hand out for me to grab I smiled and got up holding her hand

She led us to the dance floor where more people were dancing to the slow music that was being played one of her hands went on my waist while the other stayed with my hand

We danced slowly and closely out the corner of my eye I could see Dream and my ma dancing together my mom was chatting with one of her old friends she went to college with

"You okay" Samantha asked me
"Suddenly I don't want to dance anymore would you like to get some fresh air with me?" I asked
