"The first time I met Felix, was a fan meet in Sydney. Then when I became a trainee here, Han invited me into the members dance practice room to help me learn, and it happened to be that everyone else was in there too. Me and Felix got along quite well, so I suppose we're friends? Anyway, after I fell ill whilst I was with them, Felix brought me to the hospital, and he just stayed to make sure I was okay. There was never anything romantic about it." I explained, as the company head just nodded, glancing down at the printed version of the article.

"What about the boy at the arcade?" He asked, as I shook my head.

"That was just one of my friends in Suwon. People always tells him he looks like Felix, but he's not." I said, smiling slightly.

"Is this all true, Felix?" The head asked, turning to the boy standing on practically the other side of the room to me.

"Yeah, that's it. I just wanted to help her as a trainee, saying she's also handicapped at the moment, no one should have to suffer alone through all this. It means nothing, she's nothing more than a friend. I'm sorry for disturbing the company's image." Felix said, bowing in apology.

The company head just laughed. "It's more your reputation that's the worry, Felix. I'll release a statement then, describing it was a misunderstanding. Y/N, are you alright? I know you've been receiving backlash before this from some stalker, which we're still looking into, but are you holding up okay?"

I nodded, faking a smile. "Yep, just peachy. Thank you, sir."

He dismissed us, as I kept my distance in front of Bang Chan and Felix.

Bang Chan had stood outside the whole time, so Felix was just explaining everything that had happened.

When I got to the end of the hall, I knew we were splitting ways, so I turned to the two boys.
"I'm sorry for all the trouble I'm causing your group, and especially you, Felix. I won't let it happen again. I'll be going now, I've got a new apartment to sort out."

Felix smiled sadly. "Alright. Take care, Y/N."

"It's really no worries to us, please don't feel guilty." Bang Chan added as I wandered off.

I originally wanted to go to the cafe for a coffee, but on seeing Mirae behind the counter, I halted.

If she is responsible, what's to stop her killing me here and now?

But she had already seen me, and came rushing over.

"Are you alright? Did you block me? I can't contact you, Y/N." She frowned, as I just laughed lightly, pushing her hands off as I tried to balance myself, having misplaced my crutches awhile ago.

"I'm fine, and no, I didn't. My phones being repaired currently, so no one has any contact with me." I explained briskly, as she walked me over to a nearby table.

"I'll get you a coffee. One moment." She said, going up behind the counter and talking to her coworker, as they got to work, before she bounced back over to me.

"So... how's it going with Stray Kids? Are they teaching you any good stuff? Oh and I saw the rumours, how horrible! Is it true though?" Mirae questioned.

"Oh. No, they're not. I barely talk to Felix, anyways. The arcade was a misunderstanding. But it doesn't matter, and nor does my relationship with Stray Kids. I'm planning to go back to Australia until my leg heals, and when I come back they'll be on tour." 'Liar' I thought to myself, but I didn't trust Mirae, so I kept talking, all the while watching whilst my drink was made.
"I didn't join to become friends with idols, Mirae, it's for my future. I can't have false rumours ruin it, so I'm going to stay away from them."

I swear I saw a spark in her eyes, before she frowned.
"Aw, well that's kind of sad! I was hoping you could set me up with Chan, ah, but it's okay!" Mirae laughed lightly.

Her coworker came over with the drink, but Mirae took one look at it, clicking her tongue.
"No, it's no good. Look at how dark it is! Let's just take a walk and get you Starbucks, yeah?" She said, taking it back up to the counter.

Not before I saw the bubbles rising to the surface, powder spreading out in the drink before sinking inside of it.
I shuddered. Just what was that? And why was her coworker involved?

Or did Mirae put it inside the cup before the drink was even made?

She walked with me just as she said she would, to the Starbucks.
That's when I noticed a familiar face behind the counter.

"Oh, Jun, didn't know you worked here." I said, as we went up to the till and ordered.

Her eyes fell on Mirae, a smile playing on her lips before dropping it.

"Oh, yeah, I do. Ahna also really loves coffee, so I bring her some after my shifts usually, but I can't give her caffeine, so." Jun laughed dryly, starting to make our drinks.

"Mirae, I haven't seen you in awhile." Jun said slowly, glancing between me and her, and then back at the machine.

I felt my heart drop. I know it was probably just a small world, but they know each other...

And Jun saw me with who she believed was Felix...

"Ah yes I haven't seen you either! How do you know Y/N?" Mirae asked, taking the drinks as they were put down on the counter.

Me and Mirae had gotten the same drink, and thankfully, both looked the exact same, as I let out a sigh of relief.

So Jun didn't want to hurt me, she wasn't involved, I was safe.

"The hospital." Jun said slowly, watching me with caution as I took a drink.

"Oh of course! With Ahna, right? She's not doing too well, tell her I wish her all the best." Mirae said, as she dragged me out of there.

"Ugh, why was she being so rude? Is that how I act?" Mirae whined.

"Why? Are you guys close?" I asked, hesitantly taking a drink.

"Yeah, we were, until Ahna got sick. I don't like her, I know that's bad to say but she annoys me." Mirae grumbled.

I just stayed silent as she glanced at the time.

"Shoot, I've gotta get back to work. I'll see you later, Y/N!" Mirae said, waving and walking off.

I didn't like how her mood had suddenly changed after I told her I was avoiding SKZ.

And how did she know Jun? And why didn't Jun like her? Or was that a cover up?

As I unlocked the door to my new apartment and walked in, I shut the door, and sat on the floor.

Why was everything so difficult?
