Zephyr's feet pounded the earth as she raced alongside her brother, with Dae following closely behind.

"Are you sure it was a dragon?!" Zephyr yelled towards her brother. Nuffink nods, leaping over a tree root.

"Yes! It was a tiny one, but it definitely was!" Nuffink called back. Zephyr's heart pounded against her ribcage. First Dae, now Nuffink? Maybe Dae was right about them being back after all...

"Are you absolutely sure?!" Zephyr yelled back. "You do have an active imagination!"

Nuffink turned his head towards his sister and gave her a dead panned glare. "Trust me!" And that was all. Zephyr could start to smell the smoke now as they ran through the village square. She braked when she saw that Nuffink had stopped. Zephyr's eyes widened.

Towers of angry red and orange fire engulfed the pier. It ate up ships and boats with ease to the dismay of the Vikings fighting the flames.

"Oh Gods..." Zephyr whispered. Zephyr looks over her shoulder and spots Haize and Erik running towards the docks, wooden buckets sloshing with water. "Haize! Erik!"

The two turned towards her and they run towards her. "Are y'all okay?!" Zephyr asks them.

"Yes, we're fine! We weren't near the blast, but Dash was." Erik replies.

"Is she okay?" Zephyr asks.

"Guess." Haize says, jabbing a thumb towards the docks. Zephyr looks over Haize's shoulder and sees Dash Thorston, Haize's cousin, gallivanting across the docks, cackling happily with buckets upon buckets on her arms.

"Oh wow." Zephyr comments. Haize nods.

"If no one was here when that lightning struck, everyone would be accusing Dash of arson." Erik says.

"Wait...lightning?" Zephyr exclaims. She looks at Nuffink and he looks equally as shocked. "You think lightning...did this?"

Eric cocks his head. "Yes...? We watched it happen."

"Eric Jorgenson!" A voice from behind yells. "If you go into that fire, so help me Thor I will ground you for the next century!" Eric winces at the familiar voice of his dad.

"Sorry, Z, gotta run." Eric tells her, and with Haize he bolts it towards the fire once again. Zephyr looks towards her brother, who's face is pale.

"I swore I saw one..." Nuffink whispered. "I'm not lying."

"I believe you," Zephyr tells him. Dae clears her throat and the two siblings jump forwards. Zephyr had completely forgotten she was behind them.

"Shouldn't you be helping?" Dae asks.

Zephyr gulps, her eyes trailing the columns of choking black smoke and fire licking the docks. As she took a step towards the burning pier, a hard grip caught her by the arm.

"I don't think so!" Her father warns her, pulling her back. "We are not adding burns to your list of injuries."

"Mom!" Nuffink yells, and races towards their mother. He buries his face into Astrid's chest, his skinny little body shaking. Astrid strokes her sons head, soothing him. Hiccup looks down at his daughter, finally noticing the long, hazardous cut that skims Zephyr's throat.

"Zephyr, what happened?!" Hiccup exclaims, putting his hands on his daughters shoulders and examining the wound. "Did someone attack you? I swear, you never stop getting hurt—"

"You could say that..." Zephyr whispers. Hiccup's eyes raise in emergence. She looks towards Dae, who's eyes tell her; "tell him and you're dead meat".
