Using all that power took all the energy out of her and the Mikelsons...well klaus took his opportunity to take her while still in Gustaf body.

Gustaf/Klaus POV
My family and I have only heard legends of this catalyst, though some think it is created to destroy all thing's supernatural others believe it had to bring balance to the supernatural world.
'Can I have my body back now? I am grateful Kol regained consciousness and got my message but body has healed now mostly...I'd never betray this family...a..and you know that klaus'
I only did as the note said for a one reason and one reason only....
"Kol i believe Gustaf here wants his body back, he's healed mostly" I say then taking a drink of blood from a tumbler glass but choked forgetting I'm not in my body. I hear calliope groaning in the next room, kol had already gotten some witches to place a barrier around an area to keep her there for the time being.
I look over at my body and lay next to it, kol began to chant and I close 'my' eyes only to open them again as my own, I look to my right and see an unconscious gustaf "where the fuck am I?! Where's Merkel?!..."I hear calliope yell but stop when I assume she's burnt by the barrier.
"Our Guest is awake..." I say pouring half a blood bag into a glass and made my way to the room she was in.
Calliope POV
..where's Merkel?!" I yell stomping forward to find there's a barrier keeping me at this end of the large room, no windows or anything other that covered paintings and an old sofa much like my one in my old home in London, merkel must have stayed there when he came to England over the years, I felt him when he was close and sense his thoughts about trying to find a way to break my hold to the prison.
I am pulled from my thoughts as I see the one and only klaus mikelson walking into the room with blood in a glass, "glad to be back in my body, dear Gustaf was healed enough...you practically killed him if you remember" klaus speaks to me trying to get under my skin, all I could think about was the blood in the glass...the catalyst fed off those witches and I need blood. "Tha...shut up"I said annoyed yet calmly then concentrated back on the blood in the glass, he must have noticed I was fixated on it like I was a new vampire, he took a sip of it so there was less in the glass.
"Can I have some of that?...bring it to me" I say looking at the glass to him, he just steps forward and placed it just in front of the barrier. "You think you can order me to do as you say?? You can't even break out of this simple barrier" he say almost laughing "some supernatural catalyst you are" looking at me with smirk.
Klaus POV
"You think you can order me to do as you say?? You can't even break out of this simple barrier"I say nearly laughing "some supernatural catalyst you are" I say looking at her smirking, then noticing my foot pushing the glass closer to the barrier and calliope doing the same...I couldn't control my own limb then I am dragged away and out of the room by Elijah. "Going in there alone brother, though there's a barrier keeping her from escaping, she is still a catalyst and we don't know what she can do...just feed her already, you want her on our side" he explains to me.
"She can hear us right now if she's like us" I say as the numb feeling left my legs, "no, kol blocked any sound outside the room from getting in" Elijah says as Rebekah came towards us with two blood bags and a pint glass. "Try again brother, this is your plan after all" she says handing me the blood and the glass, i sigh and go back in to see calliope trying to get every last drop of blood out of the tumbler glass. "Perhaps we started off on the wrong foot calliope..how did you do that? How did you control my body?" I ask as I poured a blood bag into the pint glass and passed it too her, she gulped down half and sat on the chair closest to direct sunlight...she's has no day light ring on...she's not burning.
"It didn't work fully, it's been over a century or so since I've been whole again...it was a mistake for us to be separated" calliope said while looking from me to a window not far from the barrier between us. "Humans have changed since the 1800's, the air smells different...music has changed I know that, merkel brought me tapes a lot in the 1980's...but going back to your question, it's just a mimic thing I suppose...getting into another's consciousness for a short time if there close enough,could I get another?" she explained and asked, I got up to go get more "you want me on your side mikelson? Keep the catalyst fed, it could kill all of you easily without thinking twice" she says making me stop and turn back to her, she had a smug look on her face "what you thought your witchy brother could make a barrier spell and suddenly I wouldn't hear you?" she tells me.
"KOL!!" I yell while staring back at her with anger, kol strode into the room with Elijah too I assume so I don't attempt to dagger my brother. "It would seem my brothers barrier isn't as sound proof as he claims it to be..." Elijah says while holding yet another blood bag for calliope, she grabs it and drains half of it.
"Yes it would seem so suit guy, do you always where those?" She asks Elijah, he smiles a little
"My name is Elijah, do you have a name catalyst?" he asks sitting himself down opposite her. "Yes it's calliope and do you seriously need a barrier like this to hold me here, surely someone as wise and noble as you Elijah isn't scared of me" calliope says clearly trying to play into my brothers ego.
"Enough! Kol make this barrier stronger, Elijah a word please" I say annoyed at my brothers.
Kol sped away and came back with a couple books, Elijah broke away from whatever trance the catalyst had him under and left the room with me.
Elijah POV
"Yes it's calliope and do you seriously need a barrier like this to hold me here, surely someone as wise and noble as you Elijah isn't scared of me" calliope says to me, her eyes turning green again looking at me and I can't seem to look away from her until klaus yells breaking the trance I was momentarily in,
"Enough!! Kol make this barrier stronger, Elijah a word please" klaus yells annoyed with us and I stand and leave the room with him following me, we sped too the other side the French quarter.
"Niklaus you must think of a better way to get her on our side, though I'm assuming the catalyst part of her is hungry, perhaps feeding it more than just a blood bag or two and from the vein will satisfy it's needs" I say remaining calm. He is pacing around annoyed as per usual "it's like a new vampire all it'll want is blood, we must try to keep it fed so it doesn't destroy us like it did to the rouge Luna clan, calliope is unlike anything we've faced in all our thousand years" I continue.
"The catalyst mentioned wanting to remain fed so it won't kill us but surely calliope is her own person and she's been imprisoned for so long perhaps she needs a companion to introduce her into the 21st century, I'm sure Eric is scouring the country looking for her, their kind of vampire hold others turned by the same maker very dear to them." Klaus ranted out his plan to me...
