Chapter 31: Dark language

I am saddened this story is loosing popularity, I still really enjoy writing it though.

What do people want in this story???
Dramatic death? Do you want the Mikelsons to leave? Blood and gore??? Sex??

Calliope POV

Turlough's mutants are attacking Eric's house, thanks to kol, though those two may despise each other i believe they are a great match for each other when in battle. I assume kol had the plan of some kind whilst out helping humans, also feeding too, another thing he has in common with my brother, the true-blood stuff is disgraceful and insult to tastebuds.

'Calliope....calliope.....all this can be over, just give in and leave your friends...come to us'  I heard in my head from ètienne, I shook my head and blocked him out and I ran to help Elijah and klaus fight this shire horse on steroids sized mutant, I felt awful as this thing used to be a human or more than one, it's difficult to say.
"Are you ok Cali? You seem distressed from things other than our current situation" klaus says to me and I look to him seeing his hybrid face, i am glad he is once again on my side as he is a strong and intelligent fighter, I dare say he could give Eric a run for his money.

"Just hearing some undesirable bastard in my head but I am getting better at blocking them....with some Di..." I began speaking but the mutant swung its leg at me, I clawed at it and bit into it deeply tearing it open and it yelled as klaus twisted the part I tore open. "With some great difficulty, this poor thing was some teenagers...so young" I finished.
"I am sure kol can conjure something to help your ailment" Elijah says finally ending the life of the mutant we where fighting, "something as powerful as I shouldn't be fazed by such a thing as some measly telepathy....i am unfocused, godric would be disappointed in me" I say then getting the blood from my mouth of me, Elijah offered me his handkerchief, I nodded as a thank you.

"I may never have known your maker but if he has made someone like as enchanting and as brave and strong as you are, he will not be disappointed in you now" Elijah says encouraging me.

"perhaps he will visit after..." klaus began, "that won't be possible as he met the sun not long before Eric found me in that prison....i'd not screamed that much in my life before" i tell him with no emotion on my face, my voice nearly cracking, i lick over my lips and sped over to Eric, he was already looking at me, he must of heard Godric's name being spoken just now.

It's still so easy to be vulnerable around Elijah, klaus and Rebekah even after all this time apart from them. I suddenly hear a yell and I see it merkel, his arm contorting in a horrible way, I run to him and drag him inside Eric's home bringing him away from the eyesight of anyone that can be doing this. "Merkel...merkel concentrate on me ok....ètienne must be near by if he's able to do his body trick, I'm going to relocate the joint..." I tell him, he nods and ready's himself, I place my hands onto his arm ready to pop the joint back in, I can feel his bones healing quickly from the injury.

Suddenly his arm wraps around my throat and his other hand reaches through my back to press my heart, I yelled in pain "what are you doing?!" I scream at him, he's unresponsive and suddenly I hear a language I haven't heard in over a thousand years...

"Stop!! Merkel do...don't!!" I yell almost crying, panicking in fear, I suddenly see a glimpse of godric not far from me 'min kalliope...var stark....du är starkare än så här....håll ut' he spoke to me, I could feel myself slipping in and out of consciousness. "Godric... hjälp mig..." I reached out for him and this apparition did too, "far bror son...far bror....son!" I yell which caught the attention of Eric outside, he came speeding in and tackled Merkel, Gustav came in too chanting magic to restrain Merkel then as Merkel was about to speak that ancient tongue again "obmuta!" Kol yells and Merkel's mouth closes with out his control and klaus came in about to snap his neck but I grabbed his wrist, I shook my head no, Eric helped me stand, I couldn't feel my wound heal...at all.

"I understand he is your progeny but he has been corrupted by the turlough and ètienne, end this things life now" klaus tells me, I glow my eyes and he's thrown back from Merkel.
"He is not a thing, Merkel is my child and I refuse to end his life even if he is corrupted, I broke away from them, so can Merkel....do you understand me?!" I yell at him then look too Gustav and he renders Merkel unconscious.

"We should move the mutant carcasses, Gustav, kol make a barrier for here....after we kill turlough and ètienne, Eric get repairs for your home" I order everyone and sped outside to the carcasses starting to move the one klaus and I took down. "Calliope your back, it's still bleeding" Elijah tell me, cautiously going to touch it to look at it, I growled and I heard him step away from me. "He is right calliope, you should rest" Eric says gently pulling me from the mutant body, I growled but he knows I won't hurt him, he's one of the few people on this plane of existence that doesn't fear me.

Eric POV

I moved calliope away from the mutated body despite her growl, I continued to hold her, everyone else did as she just ordered them to do. I pulled up her shirt, she flinched, I could see her ribs cracked in, she is healing but slower than what our is able too. "What did Merkel do to you? Why is your healing process going so slow?...it's almost human" I tell her then pull her shirt down. "He was being attacked by ètienne, his trick works better when he is in close range of his target....Merkel then pinned me then st...start...started speaking a language that I hadn't heard in over a thousand years, it was a language that turlough and ètienne used to speak, something that gave them power aswell as mieczyslaw" she began explaining to me.

~time skip~

These repairs are going to cost at least a grand, I am worried about calliope, her back wound has mostly healed, I can hear her grinding her teeth at the pain in her coffin next to mine so I opened mine and picked her up from hers, carried her up to my two person coffin and placed her gently down, I lay down next to her and moved her hair from her face, her eyes fluttered open so i placed small kiss on her lips but it appears she wanted more and our tongues soon tangled for dominance, her left hand on the nape of my neck and the other on my chest, my hands where on her waist soon roaming her body gently it was taking everything in me not to take her right now.

"Eric..." she mumbles still close to me, resting our foreheads together. "You are worried about Merkel....shouldn't you be worried about the fact your healing slowed down the way it did?" I ask, this caused her to move from me.
"I know and I am but you know what it's like having your progeny in danger and being almost powerless to help them....how does the wound look, it feels odd" she tells me gently rolling on her side, I pull her shirt up and her flesh is mostly healed, ribs in place but there where some black veins coming from it and going into it.

"There are some kind of black veins coming from it and going into it...what is it?" I ask her and run my fingers over it, I feel her breath hitch if she had any. "It's nothing, pay it no mind Eric.." she tells me and rolls onto her back. "Cali..." I try to speak but she just pulls me into a deep passionate kiss, "be silent brother, if it gets worse I will tell you,ok?" She tells me and nuzzles into my chest.

"Please do, I don't want to loose you.." I mutter and then close my eyes as I can feel the bleeds starting.
