Before I even opened the door there was a stream of blood. I opened the door and Raya was laying there crying. I ran over to her. On her side was a huge wound. I held in my arms as it seemed she was taking her last breath. I called 911. I think that I was more scared then Raya was.
The bad part was that I had to tell her mom that her daughter was maybe dead. The ambulance came in a few minutes. On our way, the medics were trying to ask me questions of what happened but nothing would come out. When we got to the hospital the lady at the desk said that there was a doctor named Dr. Checker waiting for her. A nice girl walked in with dirty blonde hair, green eyes, and with a white jacket on.
The lady walked up to her and patted her on the back. When we got to the room the doctor asked what was going on? I told her every word. Dr Checker was very worried, she said that Raya was losing to much blood. She would have to have surgery but she might be ok. Her mom came to the hospital before the surgery took place. They took her to the special room, and Raya had fainted. I was not allowed to go in during it , but I could hear the doctor asking for the utensils.
Then all of a sudden it was quiet. Then the doctor said, "Oh dear."
The door of the room swung open. Maybe Raya's mom crying in happiness. No, in sadness. The bed rolled out and Raya's eyes were closed ,I was afraid to hear the words. The doctor said "Say goodbye." My heart was broken. Raya was gone! My best friend! And it felt like it was my fault.
