"Hey Babe, what are you doing here?" Benji grinned when Gracie walked in pushing Jaxston in his stroller. He smiled and rubbed the baby's cheek with his thumb, "How'd his doctor's appointment go?"

"Well..." She bit her part of her bottom lip.

"Oh no, he's not able to get the cochlear implant is he?"

She pushed out her lips then smiled, "Opposite of that actually. He's scheduled to get one in two weeks."

"Really?!" He picked her up as he hugged her. "That's fucking fantastic!"

"What's going on?" Billy asked.

"Our son is able to get the implant, he'll be able to hear pretty much normal now." Benji beamed.

"That's amazing!" Joel clapped, "We should go celebrate tonight."

"No, how about we do that after he gets it this way we don't jinx it by celebrating too soon." Gracie suggested.

"Makes sense." Paul nodded and they agreed.

Just then Matt and Brian walked in.

"Sup guys." Brian smiled, "Seems everyone is happy what's going on?"

"Oh hey you two." She smiled, "Jaxston is scheduled to get a cochlear implant next month finally. Which means he'll be able to finally hear us."

"Awesome!" Matt grinned.

"So what brings you two here?" She asked.

"Oh babe, remember when I said we'll have 2 special guests on this album? Well these are the two I was talking about."

"Oh cool! And just think, I initially helped build this friendship that day at warped by introducing you guys."

"That is true." Benji smirked and kissed her cheek. "So, Me and Joel was just going to lay the vocals on the song Something Else then we was going to start on the song The River."

"Okay, sounds good. Sorry we probably did get here too early." Matt chuckled.

"Nah, you're good man." Joel shook his head with a smile.

Joel then went into the booth and began the vocals of his part. As Gracie listened to the lyrics she narrowed her eyes and pursed her lips together as she looked towards Benji.

"What?" He chuckled.

"Really? Her daddy's a lawyer and mines not around? I wonder who that's referring to?" She smirked.

"Yeah and?" He smirked wrapping his arms around her, "I'll admit, I was thinking about you when we were writing that. And it's not the first time that's happened. There's other songs that I was thinking about you when helping writing them?"

"There are? What ones?"

"Well, there's the song Changes, then there's wondering."

"Wait, I thought that was about CashDogg."

He shook his head, "Nope, I mean as a joke I did say that and everyone just went with it. But I also started Say anything after one of the fights we ended up in."

"Oh, I never realized those were even remotely about me. I just thought they were just lyrics."

"Nope." He grinned and kissed her. "But most of them are though."

Pretty soon it was Benji's turn to lay down his vocals so he went into the booth.

"So you and Benji finally together huh?" Brian smirked, "It's about time, definitely did that backwards. Have a kid first then the relationship thing."

"Yeah yeah." She giggled. "Better late than never."

"This is true." He nods. "Michelle and me, we actually had some close calls ourselves but it was just false alarms."

"Are you guys trying?"

"Well I mean, we are having the fun that causes that." He winked, "But no, we don't have time for a little one right now." He shook his head. "We want to do things right, wait until after we're married to have kids."

"Which is an amazing thing to do. I mean don't get me wrong, I love Jaxston but I just wished sometimes I would have been more careful and waited. A baby is a lot of work."

"I can tell, especially after seeing you and Benji with him. That there's never a dull moment when he's awake."

"Oh God, never." She groaned with a smile. "It's always, he wants held, needs fed or needs his diaper changed."

"Well if you ever need a day off, I'm sure Val would be happy to babysit." Brian smirked.

"Hey, don't volunteer my girl like that." Matt laughed, "Even though you're right. She definitely would take him off your hands even if it's for a day."

"Or Jimmy would." Brian pointed out.

"Oh God." Gracie laughed with a head shake, "No, that boy would be freaking out if he's alone and Jaxston starts his crying. You've seen how he's acted when we're around. He's always ended up letting one of us deal with him."

"True." They laughed.

"But in the end he is amazing around him. I love how easily he can make Jax smile or giggle with his ball of energy though." She pointed out. "I never would picture him being so amazing around kids but he is...when they're not crying."

"That's because sometimes he acts like a kid himself. But he does know when to be serious." Brian told her. "Just because he's got the energy he does, he wouldn't hurt Jaxston as if his life depended on it."

"Oh I know he wouldn't. And I've seen it. The serious part, I mean. He'll be all goofy then when it's time to be serious, like a light switch he becomes serious." She smiled. "That's part of why he's so amazing. But anyways, I heard you guys are going to be hitting the studio next?"

"Yup, next week actually." Matt nodded.

"We've got some amazing stuff written." Brian grinned.

"Well I'd surely hope so or the fans wouldn't bother to keep listening." She giggled.
