Over the next few months, they remained friends and didn't let what happened between them ruin their friendship.

A few days after his graduation though, she asked him to hang out. At first he wasn't too sure about hanging out but caved in and hung out with her.

After they ate at one of the small diners, they stopped by an ice cream parlor then went to the park to enjoy it.

"So... what we going to do now?" Benji asked after they finished their ice cream. "You're the driver this time." He smirked as they just sat there in the pick-up truck.

"Anything." She smiled with a shrug as she turned in the seat to face him. "How does it feel to be a high school graduate?"

"It feels amazing honestly. I didn't think I could do it but I did."

"I had faith in you. I knew you could do it."

"I barely passed that's for sure." He chuckled.

"But you did and that's what's important."

"Exactly and now my next focus is Good Charlotte."

"I still find it amusing that you guys choose your band name from a children's book." Gracie laughed softly.

"Yeah yeah, we couldn't come up with anything better apparently." Benji laughed with her.

He so bad wanted to kiss her but he didn't want a repeat of what happened after the spring fling dance. As if she was reading his mind, she leaned over and started kissing him.

But after a few minutes he reluctantly pulled away.

"Don't." He shook his head, "Let's not go there. I don't want to get turned on just for it to get stopped on what we're doing because you're not ready to take it further."

"And who says I'm not ready this time." She sighed as she straddled him, "Look, I'm sorry okay? I know you've wanted things to go further between this friendship and its not like I wouldn't like that." She cupped the sides of his head, "But I want you to be focused on the band only and not have to worry about juggling life between that and having a girlfriend."

"But I wouldn't have minded. I like you a lot Gracie, I have for years." He told her as he rest his hands on her thighs.

"And I like you, I do. But you're leaving tomorrow and so tonight, I want to give you." She kisses his lips, "A going." Kiss, "Away." Kiss "Present." She kisses his neck, "Something to remember me by."

"I could never forget you." He ran his hand up her back. "You sure you want to do this though?"

She nodded as she looked at him, "I am sure, and it's only you that I want my first time with."

As they made out, he gripped her shoulders and made her lay on the seat, with him above her. sliding her skirt up, he took off her panties and undid his pants.

"Do you have a condom?" She asked, not noticing he was already in the process of pulling out his wallet.

"I do." He held his wallet up and then pulled the condom out.

After he opened it and slid it on himself, he slowly slid into her since this was both their first time.

"You okay?" He asked when he heard her whimper.

She nodded quickly, she didn't realize how painful the first time would be but they got this far and she didn't want to back down now, "Yeah, keep going."

She pulled his face down to kiss him as he thrusted into her more. He had heard stories about amazing this feeling was and knew right then and there how true it all was.

"Oh God, Benjamin." She moaned out as they both started hitting their orgasms minutes later.

They both thought everything would last longer but it unfortunately didn't.

After as he pulled away, he threw the messy condom in a bag that was in the floorboard and did up his pants. All of a sudden though, they seen headlights, so he quickly laid down on top of her so they were out of sight.

"Shit, a car." He huffed out.

"Fuck, what if it's a cop and he stops." She grabbed her panties from the floor.

"He won't have a reason to if he doesn't notice us in here." He whispers as if talking normal would make them be heard.

"Benj, if they see a random vehicle stopped in the park, that's reason to stop." She giggled softly.

"Oh, that's true."

Luckily for them, it wasn't a cop, but just a regular vehicle that just passed on by.

"That was close." He breathed out.

Instead of getting up, he took that moment to run his fingers through her brown hair as he kissed her. After they were done kissing, he sat back up so she sat up and put her panties back on.

"Sorry if you expected that to last longer." He spoke up as she pulled out of the park.

"What? No, that was amazing. It's okay if it didn't last that long. It was fun and I'm sure it's cause it's our first time."

"It was amazing and fun huh?"

"It was." She giggled with a nod. "And I'm glad it was with you and not some random guy."

"That's because you respect yourself. That's one thing I like about you. Despite you being carefree, you also respect yourself along with others. You don't do anything that would physically hurt anyone."
