THE CAR RIDE TO TOJI'S MANSION was a quiet one and you hadn't minded one bit, it would be a dream come true if you could leave this car and walk up to your room without speaking with Toji again. The workout with Nanami was now catching up to you and the good meal was making it even harder not to fall back into the cushiony seat and close your eyes. The car had come to a stop and you are too far away to have made it.

Traffic was terrible and all cars were stopped, with a sigh you closed your eyes again. Toji was answering emails on his phone to pass the time and saw your head drop to the side. You fell asleep. He ignored it, going back to his phone to answer another email. It was less than a minute before he was waking you up.

"Wake up," he says and your eyes immediately meet his green eyes that you couldn't look away from, but you had to. So you did and moved your attention to the window, disappointment ran through you to see that the car hadn't moved far. Now you were angry he had woken you.

"Why, what do we possibly have to talk about?" you half ask and half snap at him. When he hadn't answered quickly enough, you turned your body. You could feel his stare on your back as you attempted to get comfortable but you stood your ground and shut your eyes again. You weren't in front of anyone so technically Toji wasn't your husband.

After being shut out and hearing your soft snores Toji gripped hard at the phone in his hand, almost breaking it. If there was anything more he hated than liars, it was people who didn't respect him, which is something you lacked. Instead of thinking of ways to punish you, Toji unlocked his phone and went into his messages. He clicked on the name at the top and exhaled a laugh when reading the text.

Don't Answer
come and let me show you how
much better it looks on the ground.

An image was attached of Mei Mei perched on her bed in nothing but red lace that showed him literally everything. Toji exits out of the picture and types out a response, hitting send without much thought. He needed a release.

You woke up in your bed, and the sunset behind your curtains gave away that the nap was a little bit longer than you had intended. The next thing that entered your mind was who could have brought you here. The thought of Toji carrying you made your throat close but you pushed that thought away and stretched before getting out of bed.

When you slowly opened the door Aya was the first person you saw, she was carrying a pile of folded towels in her hands. "You're awake Mrs —"

"y/n," you cut her off with a smile so she would know you didn't mean any harm. Just a little correcting. "But yes I am very awake and very bored," you confessed since she was the one constant in your life, besides Nanami. "Can I help with anything?" you ask since you don't mind working.
