.You breathe, air filling your lungs. It feels nice, waking to the feel of the soft wind against your face. Though, with the injury on your hard shell, it stings slightly. But you don't mind, it's good karma for what you've done.
You sit up, noticing your friend beside you. "Hello, Lime," You chuckle, happy that your friend is beside you. You met this fellow a few months ago in the forest. And hey, it seems like he might be even worse than you!
"Heeey, Taco. Totally didn't watch you while you slept," Lime laughs, causing a chain reaction with you hitting his leg playfully. You're glad to make a friend in the Perilous Forest. Lime suggests, "Why don't we hunt for food? You look a bit hungry."
You sigh, "I guess I should. Are you... still never hungry?"
"I told you, Taco," Lime snickers, "I'm a villain capable of so many things, I don't need food like you mere mortal!"
You laugh at Lime's usual joke, always such a jokester. You stand and stretch, watching the light stream through the trees. Your back ached from sleeping against a tree instead of inside your little cave.
You walk to the other side of the tree and you grab your bow, better for hunting than a laser gun or a taser. Plus, it fit the vibe. You grab a handful of arrows and you make your way to the usual spot you have been hunting at these days. This spot has always had unfortunate animals to creep in its wake recently.
And the best part is, you've never seen any other people, or objects, strolling by! Well, except your friend Lime.
Finally, you reach the spot. But you seem to have jinxed yourself, and you find a familiar object tossing stones against a tree.
Your gut tells you to back away, but for an unknown reason, your old instincts from at least a year ago shoot into your brain. Those instincts drill harder until you feel the need to speak to this person in a manner that you had with two others.
This object was in the competition. You need him to win, don't you? Or do you even want the prize anymore?
"Hey."
Quick! He seemed to have noticed you. Think of something, something not stupid or- "Uhhhh... hi..." You say, immediately mentally facepalming afterward. How could you be so weak in-front of such a strong person?
