Chap 17: off day (F&B)

Today is Friday, Mio plans to stay at home. Having her instant holiday. Tomorrow, she will go to her mother house for a week before go back to Japan.

Right after she wake up, she decided to have an unproductive day, leisurely lying on the coach and watch Netflix.

She prepare herself simple breakfast which is a toast, an egg with a cup of milk. After that, she go grab her laptop to check her email if there is important email and she glad, there is nothing she need to do.

She go straight to the couch, sitting there and open the Netflix. She then decide to watch horror movie.

Before the movie start, she go to the kitchen and make instant popcorn. Waiting in front of her microwave, can't wait to enjoy it when suddenly her door bell ringing.

"Please... not them again" she mumble before go to the door and open it. As soon as she open the door, two creature appeared in front pf her.

Freen and Becky give a wide smile to her. Based on their look, maybe they just take a bath with wet hair.

"If you guys want to eat, go reheat the soup and the porridge yourself. Or if you don't want, just order take away. Today is my holiday, no one should interfere me" said Mio before both of them could open their mouth. Mio want to close the door but Becky block the way with her feet.

"Wait a minutes... I want to tell you something" said Becky. Mio raise her left eyebrow. She look at her watch, 8.25 am.

"Okay, I give you five minutes" Mio replied. Becky's eye focus on her own feet, showing her guilty face.

"Time is running Miss Becky" said Mio. Freen from the start just be a spectator, watch Becky and Mio from one step behind Becky.

"Errr... I'm sorry for calling you weird and pervert guy." said Becky in slow tone. Mio can barely hear it and then she look at Freen. ' It must be her who tell Becky'

"Just that? Then, it's okay. You won't see me for a while after this" replied Mio. Freen and Becky instantly look at Mio.

"Are you angry at me because calling you that? I'm sorry" Becky apologize again.

"Do you want to move because of us?" ask Freen. Mio didn't give a quick answer, instead she look at both on them that look a bit flustered with Mio's statement.

"Ummm.... yes" Mio answer make Becky more flustered.

" No la, I'm just gonna go to my mom house and then I need to go back to Japan. So probably, we won't see each other again after this" said Mio with a smirk. Satisfied with Becky reaction..

"Ouh... you can say it earlier" Freen respond while Becky relieved.

"Why? You should be happy that we won't meet again." said Mio.

"Okay, times up. Bye ii" just when Mio is about to close the door, this time Freen block the way.

"Then, since we will never meet again, let me trouble you once more again. Let us stay at your house." said Freen with her non guilty face.

"Why should I?" ask Mio.

"Err... actually, pipe in my house broke. It is quite chaotic just now. We tried to repair it ourselves. And now, there is a guy who is now repair it. We felt quite uncomfortable to stay there so, can you let us stay here, just until he finish repair the pipe?" explain Becky. Mio nodded, understand the whole story.

"Then, come in." said Mio without hesitation. Mio can see Freen face that look a bit sour, not satisfied with the different how Mio treat Becky and her.

Freen should know the reason why. She is the one who start the war first.

Freen and Becky look quite stunned with interior design of Mio's house. Totally opposite with Becky that full of pink, Mio house style is mid-century. With blue couch, wooden tiles, white wall and a big frame of abstract art on the wall facing the television.

"Wow, it felt like I come back to reality from fantasy world" comment Freen. Becky hand move fast to pinch Freen's back.

"Sit there, join me watch movie. Since that was my original plan, I'm not gonna change it. Just find your own work if you bored cause I'm not gonna treat you as my guest. Find your own food" said Mio. Take her popcorn and sit on the couch.

Freen and Becky look at each other before join Mio watch the movie. They sit on the same couch but there is a gap between Freen and Mio. Safe distant between them or one of them gonna start a fight.

There are lot of jump scare scenes, but Mio still act cool. Like it doesn't effect her. While Freen and Becky, both of them literally become one.

Then, Freen get up and go to the kitchen, open one by one of the cabinets, searching for snack and she found popcorn like the one Mio eat alone, didn't bother to share some with her so she decide to eat it. After a couple of minute waiting in front of microwave, the popcorn is ready to eat.

She sit back beside Becky and share the popcorn with her.

When there is a scene that the ghost gonna show up, Freen and Becky will help to close each other's eyes. And when the time comes, they will scream and hug each other. And of course, they make a mess with flying popcorn. They must think that Mio's house is like cinema where they can throw popcorn like snow.

Mio didn't want to care right now cause it just gonna make her mad. When Mio said to them to find their own food, yup... they really find it themselves. They look for water, open all cabinet to find snack. Treat Mio house like their own. At least Mio didn't have to get up from her seat.

Does it bother Mio? The answer is no, because... that's the way her friends act when come to her house. At least they will clean up their own mess. But... are Freen and Becky also one of her friends?

Mio go inside her bedroom and bring 2 blankets, since the air conditioner are quite cold, and she can't fine the remote. She gives one to Becky and one for herself.

"Where is mine?" ask Freen to Mio.

"Share with Becky," said Mio.

"No, I want one for myself. Becky will concur the blanket" replied Freen, know how Becky is.

Mio give up fighting because the movie almost reaches the climax. So, she run to her room and grab oversized jacket that she assume, it is her brothers'.

"Here, use this. I don't have other blankets" said Mio and throw the jacket to Freen. Freen catch it and wear it.

"Is this your boyfriend's jacket?" ask Freen when she can smell men perfume. Becky also smells it and nodded, agree with Freen.

"I don't know, maybe my brothers'. Just use it, he's not going to mad at you" replied Mio.

They end up watch 3 movie, from horror to adventure and lastly sad romance movie. They order take away food and eat it together, chatting and fighting.
