5- Heartbeat

(y/n) panted lightly as she softly pulled away from Edward's arms. A crimson red blush on her cheeks.
"Edward...." she whispered.
Edward blushed a little too, he bit his lip.
"S-Sorry.." he said, releasing her from his grip and rubbing the back of his neck, a few strands of blonde hair falling into his face.
"Damnit!!"
(Y/N) laughed a little.
"Come here Deidara." she said as he took a step towards her. She took her plain black elastic fabric wristband off her arm and tied his hair up in a mid height ponytail.
He smiled. "Thanks, (y/n)."
Her heartbeat increased at the sight of his smile. That goofy childish smile.
"Hey, (y/n)?"
"Yeah?"
"If King Levi was your father, then doesn't that make you the princess of the Elementals?"
(y/n) pondered over his question for a moment.
"I guess I never thought about it that way. I suppose I am Elemental Royalty, but I was never crowned Princess so I'm not sure.."

The sparks were still flying around the two and were glowing all different colours. Pulsing with each beat of (y/n)s heart. Edward looked around as the sparks glowed around hid mechanical arm.
A golden larger spark flew over to (y/n) and in some sort of ancient Elemental language, whispered something to her.
"Wait...you can do that?"
The spark nodded.
"Well...okay then."

The sparks flew around his metal arm and metal leg.
"What's going on?!" he said, slightly unnerved by the whole thing.
The sparks contracted onto his arm and leg and there was a huge flash of light.

When the light dimmed, Edward stood facing (y/n). She was almost in tears.

"They did it..." she spoke quietly.
Edward looked at his arm and his jaw dropped.
It was flesh and bone.
He felt his thigh, it was flesh too.
Edward ran forward and pulled her into a huge hug.
"Thank you so much..." he whispered to her, holding her close and tight.

The two stayed nuzzled in each others arms for a few minutes, enjoying the comforting silence until...

CRACK

Edwards grip on her tightened. The crackling continued and small rocks began to fall from the ceiling.

"RUN!" He yelled as he grabbed her hand.
The two ran through the crumbling cave but it was closing in on top of them. It looked like they weren't going to make it. (y/n) tripped over a stray rock.
Edward looked back in horror as she fell. He caught her and lifted her up bridal style, throwing her onto the grass out of the cave entrance before a huge boulder fell on top of him.

"EDWARD!!!" she screamed
