SO SUFFOCATING ....

IT was packed , needless to say why. This was ever I had seen such crowd of students in the school. Few of the faces known - most of the faces unknown.

" Heard what happened in the canteen, I can't believe he did that to Larissa. "
Tapping her finger on her chin she looked focussed on thinking the reason why Chase did that to his so called girlfriend.

" If I knew the reason Danielle I would have told you. I don't know. "
She was curious to know and regretted that she was absent to witness the scene .

" Are you sure he didn't say anything to you afterwards. "

" No. We just.... "
I trailed, not  knowing what to say.

The boy whom you liked kissed me in his car and I enjoyed it.

" You just ... What? "
With a playful smirk she enquired.

" Nothing and lets focus on the game. Do you think we will win this game ?"
I asked her, diverting her brain back to the game.

" I don't think. I know we will. "
Her confident words calmed me a bit.

Sin and his friends were good, actually great at the game but the opposite team was giving them a hard time. I didn't know they were also  that good. The points didn't vary much and Sin looked tired.

He was in his white half sleeved jersey with No. 5 written on its back. His eyes were focused on the boy who was dribbling the ball, when he was about to the pass the ball to his team mates Sin snatched it in a blink and ran towards their court, he passed the ball to Joshua who was waiting for it and made a goal. We were at the same point as them now and didn't had much time. If we had to win we had to basket the ball this last time.

I knew how much important this game was to Sin. If we won this would give him the opportunity to represent himself in national level. He had put all of his for it and it would break him if we lost. Basketball was his career.

I looked at the players, how sync by sync they passed the ball. The ball was in Sin's hand and the opponent was blocking his way, they were in the middle of the court. Time was ticking, Sin passed the ball to one of other players and in a sec the ball was back in his hands again and he made half court shot. The whole room cheered in
the loudest cry as we won. I couldn't keep my tears at bay. Ofcourse happy tears. When the court got cleared I ran to his way and jumped at him. Safely he caught me.

" Ow.. Slowly girl. "

" We won. "

" Indeed. "

" Congratulations."

" To you too. "
I couldn't contain back the giggles left my throat.

" Now put me down. "

" No. "
What? Then I realized every eyes were on us. With flushed face I requested him with my eyes. Chuckling and shaking his head at my childness he put me down.

" Come on. I will drop you home. "
He said opening the water bottle.

Ryan and Joshua walked in our direction holding their sports bag. I congratulated them, getting a nod in return. Okay. Ryan looked grumpy and looked in all directions, searching for someone. I then realized Danielle was alone on the seat.

Gesturing with my hand I told her to come. Nervously she came and stuttered congratulating them. Ryan looked all but happy. His gaze was focused on Danielle, particularly on her hands.
