Jisoo Realizes Something Arc [2]

The cafeteria was bustling with people. The line at the counter was long, and it never seizes to amaze Jisoo knowing the fact the food isn't all that great. It really was just enough to satiate the hungry heathens that the school made out of their students (Jisoo realizes she's really got a lot to do to save a wonderful potential semester break she'd planned on spending with-)

Jisoo came in a bit late to their usual table due to some... business. Wendy pointed out how Jisoo moved a bit suspicious this week, to which she simply shrugged off with a knowing smile- one she donned when letting everyone know she's hooking up with someone (She realizes this game could get dangerous fast)

"Which poor lad is it this time?" Sowon asks, much to Jisoo's confusion

"Lad? You mean lady right? I think anyone could hardly get those words wrong" Jisoo says arrogantly, almost insultingly- and Sowon just had to roll her eyes

"I'm saying who's the poor lad whose girlfriend you stole this time 'cuz last I remember, you fucked the shit out of Namjoon's girlfriend two weeks ago" She recites while eating and pointing a fork at her "That was such a commotion. I can't believe you'd dare to provoke such a huge looking man"

Jisoo brushes it off as if it wasn't a big deal "He simply hides his cowardice behind a big body. He really wasn't much. He's a nice dude- and I mean the suspicious kind of nice." (Saying it aloud had just convinced herself even more about it. Nice is good, but too much nice is suspicious)

"Alright enough conspiracy theories" Wendy interrupts as she stood up "Let's line up before the line gets any longer, Soo" 

"Oh I have my own food today" 

Both Sowon and Wendy roll their eyes, grunting and mumbling about wishing Chaeyoung would hurry up to lunch so Jisoo will have some decorum "Eating girls out during lunch is not part of Maslow's description of Physiological needs so get up an-" Before Wendy could finish her piece, Jisoo fishes out a lunch box from her bag with a smug look

Their mouths hung open. No way Jisoo brought her own lunch when she'd always complain about how such things are inconvenient to carry when they had a cafeteria!

"Maybe you guys are the ones who got your heads in the gutter" Jisoo teases

"No way you- wha..?!" Sowon stutters in shock, which took Jisoo aback. Was it such a big deal? It's just a lunch box 

Wendy leans in, putting her handout to go over Jisoo's forehead as if to try feel her temperature "Are you sick?" She asks, tone sounding rather serious rather than a humoring manner

Jisoo swatted her hand off, "Shut it you two. It's just a lunch box. What's the big deal??"

"Hey guys. Sorry I'm late" Chaeyoung finally arrived, sitting beside Jisoo right where she belongs "What's got you two unnies looking like you saw a ghost?" she was confused

"Jisoo brought her own lunch box today!" The two older girls said in unison, and Chaeyoung was SHOCKED shocked

"Unnie?! Is that for real?! Let me see!!"

"Oh God not you too Chae...." Jisoo face palms "Can I please just eat my lunch without you guys criticizing me for this... life changing decision?"

Chaeyoung sighs before giggling. She didn't wanna overreact too much to the point of convincing Jisoo out of doing a new good habit "I mean you know what? I'll let you live this one. That's a good new habit to have"

Wendy had a different reaction though. She had a keen eye, and she was especially good at noticing the smallest changes. If the reason Chaeyoung knows Jisoo well is because they confide to each other, the reason why Wendy knows Jisoo well is because she'd know anything. Jisoo was glad to see that she let it go though

"Chaeyoungie, let's go line up now. I'm famished! The basketball club just won't let..."

As the two had gone far and everything else in the cafeteria came to a blur, Jisoo's eyes search for the first person who was on her mind...

And she was looking back at her with a smirk.

(She realizes the thought of Jennie overhearing them gave her too much embarrassment than it should've)
