A/N: this chapter will be very unusual and probably won't make sense as I'm changing how Malia helps stiles to get Bronski's keys and after that

It was the day after Stiles was added to the echo house and the group that Morrell gets together was gathered to have another session and Ragnar looked bored out of his mind, as did malia but stiles looked jumpy.

"I want to go back to the topic of guilt today, it might surprise you that hearing me say that guilt is a good thing, its a rather mature emotion" said Morrell and she then looked to Malia "Malia you said something about guilt the other day, you said it came with a visceral reaction"

"I said it made me feel sick to my stomach" replied Malia

"guilt often becomes physical, you feel it in your gut" she was now looking over to stiles who looked nervous "its not just psychological" after a pause she started again " how does guilt make you feel stiles?"

"I'm sorry what?" he replied

"guilt. what does it make you feel?" she repeated to him

"nervous."

"like a sense of urgency?" he nodded and she continued "you feel an urgent need to make up for something you've done. To apologise. These are healthy responses" she explained to mainly stiles

She then called out to the whole group "does anyone know what we call someone who doesn't experience guilt?" and Ragnar froze and thought if he actually had experienced guilt before and he was brought back to the time he was human or hadn't triggered his curse, he felt guilty most of the time because he couldn't help his older brother a lot with Mikael but Klaus had told him something that made him wonder but also bring out more guilt

'I'm the older brother I'm supposed to protect you, not the other way around' this declaration from Klaus made Ragnar feel wrong like he should still take his beatings but then when he asked this of Klaus he spoke to Ragnar again with something else

'Mikael only takes you onto battlefields in hopes you either gain him new land or for you to die, so if you not taking his beating keeps you strong on the battlefield I will take them so you may come home, plus the older brother has to help with the Youngers burdens'

Ragnar was so in his head that he hadn't realised that Morrell had said the session was on a break but really it was the end and she had taken stiles with her well that is until malia got closer to him and he caught her scent right next to him and could feel her eyes staring at him

"yes malia?" spoke Ragnar

"Morrell took stiles and I feel the sessions over now, so can we go and you can teach me?" she asked

"sure nothing else comes to mind on what to do plus this is the perfect environment for training a werewolf or in your case were coyote" he said and she smiled he stood up and then they walked through the echo house until they were at Ragnar's room he entered and she followed

"as there is no specific room this is the best we can do as the other people admitted are scared of me, well lets go over what we should do first with your 'training' "he said as he sat on his bed and she sat across from him

"umm isn't this just going to be teaching me how to eventually become a coyote again?" she asked confused

Ragnar looked at her with an annoyed expression "what's the point of me teaching you if you let certain heightened emotions and senses get you caught and killed it would be a waste of all the effort I've put in for you" he said and she looked understanding
