Character Traits:
(this section is mainly written for my own benifit, as I kept forgetting the backstory I wanted for her, but I thought I'd keep it it anyway)Ayami's education in architecture provides her with an in-depth understanding of mathematics, whilst the creative side of the subject stimulates her ability to think outside the box. In Borderland, she finds advantages in games that require one to understand their environment.
Having moved to Tokyo as an international student, she struggled to settle in. Her rocky beginning in a new country led to deepened trust issues. Subsequentl, Ayami struggles working with people, and is better suited to working alone.
Despite having little motivation to complete her degree, Ayami is resilient and hard-working. She may not have a desire to participate in life, but she does so anyway. Her intense work has left her emotionally numb and apathetic to society, learning from her part-time job that sometimes, caring too much can only make things worse.
But when she meets a particular medical student, she slowly begins to wonder that -perhaps- she may have been wrong.
