I'm a big fan of One Direction, knew all their songs, names, birthdays and even has many One Direction posters and D.I.Y.s decorating my room.
Getting ready for my first date I didn't want to be over dressed, under-dressed. I chose a maroon top with a light grey cardigan, skinny jeans and white converse. Studying myself in the mirror, I liked the outfit. I quickly touched up my hair and left for my date also deciding that I should be about five minutes early to my date with Oliver.
Sitting down in the diner at a table where I could be seen from the door, I waited for Oliver.
Little did I know, my first date wouldn't go well...
After waiting for an hour and the stars coming out, I knew he wasn't coming. It was my first date and was stood up!!! Wiping a few stray tears from my face I walked out with my head down and hoping that I didn't see anyone who would recognise me.
I didn't want to go home just yet, I needed fresh air. Wandering over to the park bench across from the diner. It was a clear night and I sat and cried.
Harry P.O.V
The lads and I ware walking down the street having fun and just being stupid. We were just walking past the park and Louis and Niall took off running chasing each other. Zayn and Liam ran after them. I was going to and then I saw a girl on the bench crying.
I went up to her. She had blonde hair, and I presume, a pretty outfit. I walked over to her because I was curious and wanted to know if she was ok.
"Hey, I'm Harry," I said.
The girl looked up, she was crying. "I'm Y/n."
"Hi Y/n, if you don't mind me asking, why are you upset?" and I sat next to her on the bench.
Y/n wiped her tears. And she answered softly. "I was going to go out on a date with this guy Oliver, and he never came. I waited there for an hour and then I knew he wasn't late and not showing up. So I just walked over to the bench because I don't want to go home to my mum and tell her what happened. Ehhhh, sorry for telling you all of this," and gave a small smile.
"Nah, it's cool. That's awful that he stood you up. You said you didn't want to go home to your place right, do you want to maybe hang out with me and my mates?"
