The next day ezra finally had a good awakening as zeb didn't throw him out immediately. Instead he just yelled at him to get out so he could get dressed and let him walk out; it was better then previous thats for sure.

Zeb also didn't spouting insults and degrading him all the time but rather once in a while. It was still a daily thing but not as infuriatingly often and didn't put ezra in a bad mood for the whole day.

This whole new living situation made him feel presured in every situation even when there wasn't a situation. So having not as many infuriating insults being thrown at him constantly him a lot.

As for everything else, it was still the same. Only today hera asked how jedi training was going and he said, "never heard of it." Sarcastically. Then hera apparently scolded kanan and now ezra was finally training. Only it wasn't what ezra envisioned.

"Stay focused. Let. Go." Kanan instructed.

Ezra struggled a little but was able to maintain his one hand handstand ontop of the ghost while in flight. "Let go? Rather hang on if ya dont mind."

"Enough jokes. Focus." Kanan scolded half heartedly.

"Focusing isn't my specialty really." Ezra stated.

"Just do it."

Ezra mentally rolled his eyes because he kept them closed. "Trying."

"Do or do not. There is no try."

Ezra opened his eyes with a confused expression. "Whats that sapost to mean? How can i not do something if i dont try to do it?"

"Well... ya see... m..." kanan fumbled. "Actually that one used to confuse me a lot too, but master yoda sure said it a lot."

"Whos that?" Ezra asked.

"This jedi training is boring!" Zeb complained. "No wonder your old religion died."

Kanan ignored him and continued to talk to ezra. "He was a great jedi master. Older then 50 generations of human jedi and probably many more. He was wise and deeply connected to the force. He was also on the jedi council when the empire rose and the jedi fell."

"What happened to him?" Ezra asked.

"If i survived, im positive he did too. Just dont know where. Probably best that way anyway..." Kanans voice faded. Ezra could see the emotional pain still lingered greatly as he tilted his head. He nodded and closed his eyes again. Focusing on his masters pain and this yoda person.

Soon a hum sounded. Loud but not blasting. Just like when he opened the holocron. He soon felt emotions but he knew they weren't his. It was like he was feeling others feelings but whos? Then he felt it. A different set of emotions from a different source. It wasn't near... but wasn't far either... it felt spooky. Like they were watching from the shadows completely cloaked... like they-

Suddenly ezra fell backwards and fell into a crate of milk cartons. He looked up to see zeb smile and laugh his gruff laugh as kanan made his was to him and rooling his eyes. Ezra guessed what happened with zeb as kanan pulled him out. Ezra didn't like being touched yet and pulled away.

"Does he have to be here?" Ezra asked irritated.

"He's annoying but battles are full of distractions. You need to learn how to work through them." Kanan thought for a moment and hesitated but eventually went through with it. "Here, lets try something else."

He assembled his lightsaber and gave it to ezra as he stood up. Ezra took it and examined it with amazement. "When will i get my own?"

"Having a laser sword does not make you a jedi." Kanan stated.
