Like I said, it all began with a...
"Hello, baby doll."
But before all of that, I was skipping school and was happily slurping on my cherry slurpie.
Those are seriously the perfect skipping school drinks.
I turned out of the 7/11 and just casually walking down the sidewalk before throwing my backpack in the trash. I pulled out my phone from my butt pocket and checked the time. It was only 12:00.
Grinning, I knew I only had four more hours to kill.
Not looking where I was going, I immediately bumped face to chest with someone. It was obviously a guy cuz I didn't feel boobs and they smelled of nice smelling Axe.
I looked up and saw that he had spiky black hair and cool ear piercings on both ears. I could see an even cooler tattoo on his neck.
"Watch it," I said gruffly.
"Hello, baby doll," he replied in an egotistical "I'm so hot" voice while gingerly touching my cheek.
"I'm not your baby doll," I said, smacking his hand from my face.
He seemed amused before putting his arm around my shoulder and I could see two cops walking towards us.
"Are you with him?" one cop asked.
I was about to say no when I could feel the guy squeeze my shoulder.
"Yeah. I'm his girlfriend," I lied.
"So you were with him all day today?" the other cop asked.
"Yeah. We were out on a date. Wasn't that right, baby doll?" the guy asked.
I nodded with a big smile. One good thing about being a bad girl was that I was incredibly good at lying.
"Ok. Because I thought I saw your boyfriend stealing a motorcycle," the cop said.
I had to mentally pinch myself to keep from screaming HELP!! I'M BEING KIDNAPPED!!
"I can assure you he didn't do that," I said.
"Alright. Let's go, Maurice. It wasn't him," the first cop said.
The two cops nodded before walking away. Once they walked away and out of earshot, I pushed his arm off of me and glared at him.
"Can I have some?" the guy asked, pointing at my slurpie.
"No! Who are you and why'd you steal a motorcycle?" I asked.
"I'm Justin. And I didn't steal a motorcycle. I permanently borrowed it," the guy answered.
"Well Justin. If that is even your name, whatever you're involved in, keep me out," I said.
I turned to walk away when Justin grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"Let go of me!" I exclaimed.
His grip was too strong and he pulled me towards a dark alley. Then, he gently slammed me against the wall and I gasped.
"Normally, girls like you would be a puddle in my hands. What makes you so special?" Justin asked.
"I'm not into the whole guys pushing girls into dark alleys type of guy," I answered with a smirk.
"I like you," Justin said. "You're different."
"Keep your feelings to yourself. Now let go of me," I snapped, turning my head away from him.
He tilted my head up so I could look at him and smiled.
"There, baby doll. I like it better when you look at me. You look nice in shorts," Justin said.
Oh my God. He was going to rape me.
"Don't rape me," I said.
Justin looked at me in shock before laughing. His laugh sounded actually kind of nice to me and I softened up a bit.
He let go of me and I felt like I could breathe again.
"What's your name?" Justin asked.
"Cassandra. But every one calls me Cassie," I answered.
"You look seventeen," Justin said.
"I am. Aren't you, like, eighteen?" I asked.
"Nineteen," Justin answered.
He was two years older than me. Isn't that illegal?
"Shouldn't you be in school?" Justin asked.
"You want to talk to me about the rules, criminal?" I asked.
Justin smirked.
"I didn't take you for a bad girl. You actually look cute and sweet," Justin said.
"Well. I'm not. I'm your worst nightmare," I said before slurping on my slurpie.
As I licked my lips, I thought I saw Justin looking at my lips. I smiled.
"Now that I gave you a free stay out of jail card, am I free to go?" I asked.
"I dunno. You don't want to stay and hang out with moi?" Justin asked.
"I mean, I need something to do. School for me doesn't end until four more hours. What do you suggest?" I asked.
"What about the boardwalk?" Justin suggested.
"Are you, like, sort of asking me out?" I asked.
"Yeah, baby doll. That's precisely what I'm doing," Justin answered.
"Why call me baby doll?" I asked.
"Cuz you're tiny and cute like one," Justin answered.
"I'm not tiny! I'm almost five feet," I pointed out.
"Yeah... tiny," Justin said with a laugh.
"Whatever," I said with an eye roll.
Justin took my hand and pulled me out of the dark and dirty alley. Then, he walked towards a motorcycle.
"Why do I have a feeling it's the permanently borrowed motorcycle?" I asked.
"Cuz it is," Justin answered before handing me a helmet.
"Hop on," Justin said.
I put my helmet on and threw away my slurpie (I wasn't even done yet... :-( ) before climbing on behind him and we were off.
