Once her father announced his time to go on a killing spree she waited a few moments to make sure he was a decent ways away. She smirked and knocked three times on her door, a signal her and Toby had worked over a few hours before.
"Alright so when I knock on my door, three times in a row, you come and open it. Got it?'' She said to him the hours before. He nodded and seemed to smile beneath his mouth guard.
"Yeah!" He said, cracking his neck.
"Okay now stand outside and we'll rehearse." She said and he nodded, walking outside. She waited maybe five minutes before knocking three times. She waited for ten minutes before sighing.
"Toby?" She called through her door.
"Yeeees?" She heard his voice reply.
"Why didn't you open the door?" She asked, tapping her foot.
"Oooh! That was my signal?!" He said back, genuinely surprised.
"Toby! Yes!" She said back, hitting her head on the door.
"Got it! Got it!" Toby chuckled back. She giggled and they rehearsed it a few more times before he actually got it down pat.
This time, Toby actually opened the door and she fist bumped the twitching proxy. He literally dragged her down the stairs and blocked the TV for the rest. She noticed only three and figured the rest, at least who she had been told about, had gone out killing also. She noticed they were all boys and all had unique traits about themselves... Very unique.
"Ben! EJ! Jeff! This is Emma! Slenders daughter." Toby smiled beneath his mouthguard.
"That's Ben." Toby pointed to a boy who looked like Link but didn't actually have eyes... More like black circles that seemed to never end and red pupils in the middle of the black voids. He had some blood dripping down his cheeks and a smirk, showing dimples. He had some muscle on him you could see through his tunic and his arms but she couldn't tell if he had any leg muscle, due to the trousers, but the muscle's weren't ridiculous. He looked to be maybe 15 or possibly 16 at the most, exactly her age. She had one word to describe him. Hot.
"Hi." She gave a small wave once Toby released his arm from around her shoulder. She felt a small blush as he winked.
"Hey sexy." Ben said, his voice a bit deep but not too deep making him cute.
"Sup I'm Jeff now get out the way of the TV before the two of you take a nap." He growled. Emma looked over at the pale boy who had a smile carved into his face and black hair that went to his shoulders. He had black rings around his eyes and if she didn't have a clue about how weird her family was, he wouldve scared her.
"Ignore him. He's like that. That's EJ though." Toby said and pointed to the last one before leaving. The last boy had a gray hoodie on and a dark blue mask with black sockets and a black substance dripping from the sockets. His gray hoodie had crimson stains on it. Blood. He looked to be holding something red and mushy..... A kidney?
"Move it pipsqueak." Jeff growled again and stood up, bringing a knife to her neck. Her survival instincts kicked in and she pulled a dagger out of her hoodie pocket and held it to his neck.
"Fast. I like it." He said, sitting back down and maybe having a smirk but she couldn't quite tell. She moved out the way of the TV and sat on the floor in front of the couch, next to Ben's legs.
"Scared to sir next to me, huh?" Ben chuckled and looked down at her. She blushed a soft pink and slowly sat next to him. He chuckled and stretched out, his arm ending up around her neck and he gave her a side glance, smirking as her face turned an even brighter red.
"He likes to flirt. Too much. Get use to it." EJ said quietly from the other side of couch. She nodded and watched TV with the boys, it was some sport and she didn't quite get the gist. Although she rarely watched TV so she didn't understand much. After a while of her asking too many questions, Jeff explained the sport of football to her and he gradually caught on. By the time the game ended, she had won 37 bucks in bets against the boys. After a while, Jeff and EJ fell asleep and left Emma and Ben to talk amongst themselves. He ended up giving her his number so they could text since she wouldn't be seeing him too often. She and him laughed and talked and flirted with each other for a while before the sound of footsteps coming onto the front porch made Emma run up to her room and lock the door.
She laid on her bed for a while and looked at the way Ben wrote and his number. She had butterflies when talking to him and she was constantly blushing and giggling.
"I... Think I love him..." She mumbled to herself, smiling.
