Three days later, she actually got a text from Ben. She raised her eyebrow and looked at the text.
'Hey ;)'
And that's the only thing she got. She shrugged and replied back. After a while of them texting and sending ridiculous selfie's back and forth, he called.
''Hey." His voice sounded through the phone speaker. She giggled.
"Hello." She replied.
"Lonely?" He asked after a moment, his voice soft and possibly caring.
"Yeah." She shrugged, a bit suspicious.
"Sit your phone down. Trust me." He said, an obvious smirk in his voice. She had no reason to trust this boy but she eventually set her phone down and he crawled out of her phone, getting his foot stuck for a moment before she actually got up and helped him. They fell next to each other on the floor and she giggled.
"And your suspose to be better then Link?" She giggled a bit and looked at him.
"Well... Err... Still working on that on smart mouth." He chuckled and helped her off the floor in one quick movement. She blushed and looked down seeing his hand on her hip and his other hand still holding hers. He coughed after a moment and pulled away, causing them both to blush.
"So... Wanna play 20 questions?" Ben asked, sitting on the end of her bed while she still stood. She blushed when she saw him checking her out and stopping at her chest when she moved and sat down.
"Sure." She smiled.
"Why does your dad lock you away?" Ben asked after a moment. Emma sighed and looked down.
"After my mom died... He didn't want me to meet the same fate so he locked me in this room and kept me away from the rest." She mumbled.
"Oh." Was all Ben said as he looked down and felt guilty for asking.
"Don't feel bad Ben...ny." She smirked, watching him blush as she added the last part to his name.
"Why did you drown?" She asked, getting serious and watching him get a sad look at on his face. After a moment, it struck her.
"I'm S-sorry! I shouldn't have asked that! It was wrong of me to do so... And I'm so sorry Ben I can be such a--" Ben cut her off by putting his hand softly over her mouth and chuckling.
"Its okay. I'd rather say so then somebody else..." He mumbled Jeff under his breath and looked up again, talking once more.
"Besides, seeing you that worried was amazing." He chuckled.
"Judasable was wrong. I wasn't a mistake in the game system, a simple glitch. I use to be a teenager... I was addicted to the game Majora's Mask and I had never learned how to swim so I was forced to go to a pool party. After everybody had left I realized the cartridge was still in my hoodie pocket since I never put on a bathing suit. It was an old cartridge and I had so many that I had to write Majora on the cartridge so I could tell the difference. My uncle pushed me into the pool soon after the sun went down and held my head under the water until the water filled my lungs and it burnt to breath. I eventually closed my eyes and never woke up, being trapped inside that game and haunting anybody who dares to take the risk of summoning me." Ben chuckled at his last segment and she smiled softly.
"I'm sorry to hear that... But I asked for how you drowned, not your back story." She teased and he rolled his 'eyes'. She smiled and lightly punched his arm.
"I'm joking, I'm joking." She giggled and went to say something else before Slender flung her door open and growled, which was a bit odd.
"How did he get into your room?!" Slender yelled, making Emma jump.
"I'm not counting that as the third question..." Ben muttered and Emma gulped at her father and didn't realize how tightly she was holding Ben's arm.
