So, this will be a story about my life. This is where I keep all my secrets. This is my safe space.

Well, I guess I will introduce you to myself. My name is Maeve, I am 15 years old, and I live in Canada, toronto. It's a big city, but being born into a wealthier side. It's either you succeed and make more money, or you live with your legal gaurdian forever. It's kind of a messed up world we live in nowaday's. We have a whole war going on right now, Ukraine and Russia, we lost so many people, Kobe Bryant, his daughter, we lost twitch, we lost xxtentation, juice world, Cameron Boyce, Luke perry, King Von, Chadwick Bosemen, Pop Smoke, Betty White, Queen Elizabeth, Stan lee, Bob Saget. So many legendary deaths since Covid happend. Instead of the world going forward, we are going backwards. War started in 1914, then the second one, 1939-1945; that was only 23 years apart. Only after 71 years later, with all the peace contained, all families being safe, everyone thinking they are safe; then we have these ignorant people who have power, and decided to sacrafice there own world, their own homes, families, children, loved ones, for what? And why does no one talk about cancer anymore? If all the people who looked for a cure, or a vaccine, for covid, if they all decided to work for a cancer cure, then we would have probably had one by now; but the world is so tied up with getting foundation money for it, it makes me curious to what they are doing with the money. Or no one talks about mens mental health, like men don't feel anything, and how they have to object by society and "be a man". Or no one talks about how we are sheltering kids more and more everyday, making things that made us a kid 10+ years ago a kid, illegal. We keep coming out with newer technology, and kids that are 1-2 years old, already knows how to use a phone, when their brain isn't fully developed; then they are glued to a screen, forgetting the real world. Imagine this world 30 years from now, and then 80 years from now. Are we ever going to have face to face conversations like we used to, or is everyone going to be able to work from home. How are relationships, and offsprings going to happen if we can't get off our phones because we are too wired to them.

Talk about highschool, we don't learn the things we need to learn to help better the world, but yet we sit in class and take notes about the war, something in the past.
