I was in mami's apartment sitting at the table on my laptop as Mami was helping me with finding a perfect cake along with abuelita telling me to put herself on it and to make sure she looks better than the bride. This is the only thing I need and after that I'm done with the wedding planning and in 5 weeks me and Lisa will be married. Lisa is with her bandmates at an interview right now so the kids are with me watching tv while my bandmates are in my apartment relaxing for our day off. I already bought my tux as did Elena and Alex as they went with me yesterday and Mami and abuelita had their dresses.

The door opened revealing Elena with some of her friends talking and laughing. "Sounds like Alex is home." Abuelita said from the kitchen. "Oh, no, mami, that's Elena." Mami said. I took a sip of my coffee that abuelita made me. "But I hear friends." Abuelita said making me choke on my coffee from laughter. "Hey, Elena. Who are all these peeps? What's up peeps?" Mami asked them. "Okay, stop saying peeps." Elena told her. "Oh, cause peeps are candy chicks used to celebrate paguen fertility, and woman are more than just baby-makers? I get it." Mami said to all of them.

"Maybe don't say anything." Elena told her. I got up taking a break from planning my wedding and walked up to Elena and her friends. "Anyway, this is the advocacy group I was telling you guys about. The Feminist Gamers of Echo Park. We've been hanging out online and this is our first meeting IRL." Elena told us. "Welcome. What's everybody's name?" Mami asked the teenagers. "I'm Dani. My pronouns are she and her." Dani introduced herself. "Syd. My pronouns are they and them." Syd introduced themselves. "I'm Margaux. Pronouns ze and zer." Margaux introduced. Mami looked at the teenagers confused. "I'm Penelope. My thoughts are huh? and what? Seriously, what is happening?" Mami asked them.

"Well, because some people are gender non-confirming, they have certain preferred pronouns." I explained to her as Elena agreed with me. "Ah! I am Lydia. Pronouns Ly-dee-a." Abuelita said from beside me. "Anyways, my name is Y/n, Elena's older sister and my pronouns are she and her." I introduced myself. "Aren't you that singer in BTS?" Syd asked me excitedly. "Yup, but don't tell anyone that Elena or Alex are my younger siblings. I'd like to keep them out of the spotlight to protect them." I explained to them. "Don't worry your secret is safe with us. You are actually my idol that I look up to." Dani told me. "Thank you, Dani." I said to her making her and Sid silently squeal.

"We're going downtown to protest the release of a new video game." Elena told us as she grabbed some protest signs. "Blood-splosion Six." Margaux said. "Oh, I guess you think it's too violent, huh?" Mami asked the teenagers. "No, we love that part." Elena told her. "When you create your avatar, there are only two gender non-binary characters." Dani said as she went to sit down next to Syd. "And the advertising strongly suggested there would be three." Syd told us. "Okay, just, you know, be careful." Mami told them. "Don't worry. I'll be watching them." Abuelita said to Mami. "Why would you be watching Syd?" Elena asked her confused. "I meant you." Abuelita told Elena. "My pronoun is her." Elena said. "I thought she was her." Abuelita said as she pointed at Dani. "We're both her." Elena said as she pointed to herself and Dani. "When you say her, you mean them." Mami said as she pointed at Elena and Dani. "No, they is them. Stop making this confusing." Elena told her as she pointed at Syd.

Then Alex came out and stood next to me as he looked at them. "Sup?" Alex asked the three. "Aye, papito. You are barking up so many wrong trees." Abuelita told him as she dragged him away into the kitchen. Mami took Elena to the table. "I love all the activism, but make sure it doesn't affect your homework." Mami said to her. "Because/I need to build up my/your transcript. And crush the PSAT's!" Mami and Elena said together. "Wha. Yes! That's my girl!" Mami said as her and Elena high-fived each other. Elena then walked up to her friends.

"Okay, everybody! When we get there, she takes her team to the stairs, ze takes zir team to the parking lot, and they take their team to the corner store. He, she, they, and ze will all meet up at the fair-trade coffee shop between the two Starbucks. Got it?" Elena asked them. "Got it!" Everyone said as they left the apartment. "Let's March!" Margaux said. Once the door closed Mami looked at me and abuelita. "She must've practiced that." Mami told us. "Are you almost done with the cake decorations, Bonita?" Abuelita asked me. "Yep, I'm having one of the best cake makers to make my wedding cake and yes I made them put you on the cake as well, abuelita." I told her as abuelita gave me a thumbs up.
