My Morning

It's 5:40 a.m. and I hear the sound of music being played. I just listen to it as my head dreams of sandy beach, listening to the waves hit the shore. I just stare at the ocean wondering "Why am I here?" I just stare, having the same thought in my mind for minutes. This was my favorite part of the day, being able to relax and not have to worry about life's problems.

All of sudden I see a cat next to me. The cat just purs on me and I embrace the puring. I couldn't resist petting the cat, I've loved animals and I will always love animals. As I try to pet it something was wrong. I couldn't move my arm. I would try and try until a realization hit me. I must have fallen asleep again and when the sounds of the waves hitting the beach became louder, to the point it hurt my ears, I finally jumped and next thing I know I am finally awake.

*Guess my day starts*

I wake up to a usual morning and do my usual "stuff". Check to see how my friends are doing. Eat my breakfast, not even thinking how it taste. I rush my mornings because I have to show up to on time to football practice. I honestly hate waking up very early because I love my sleep, but I love football too. I can be myself in the field and show what I really am... A hard worker. I work hard in everything I do. Football, school, being a friend, and most importantly, becoming a better person. I know life has it's roller coasters and bumps in the roads, but eventually you find a way over that bump.

I did my usually hygiene and made sure I wasn't looking like Waldo. As I leave to school I seem to look at myself in the mirror and think about what today might hold for me. Then the past hits me and I wonder "what if?" I think about the past mistakes I made and wonder why I did that. Will I become the same person I was yesterday, or will become a new "me". However, I always tell myself one quote that gives me the motivation to do what I do. "Today is a new day. The past is the past and the future is the future. So lets make today the best it can be."

I hope this good.
