"So what your telling me now is that Stacy is the one behind all your family drama and she's coming after you and she's 26 and shouldn't be in high school?" Joe asks me again for the 528th time.
"Yes" I reply again.
"Ok so now what am I supposed to do about that?" He asks me, turning around to leave the room.
"Help me uncover the mystery" I answer, very angry that he gave up that quick.
"But it's already uncovered... you already know it's her so just tell the cops or something" he said, making me sound dumb.
"But what if that's what she wants me to do? What if it's a trap?"
"This is not a movie Chloe, it's real life, I'm pretty sure that a 26 year old is not capable of murder" he defended himself, beginning to open the door.
"Ugh! You're so stupid!"
"Last time I checked you're the one who copied my answers in the maths test we did"
"Whatever, I guess I'll just find someone who actually cares about me ..." I say, trying to persuade him to change his mind.
"Yea sure whatever" he said and leaves.
What's wrong with him? He didn't used to be so mean... maybe he has a really bad headache?
I hear a knock on the door and walk over to open the door.
I open the door.
"Chloe I need to talk to you" Jayden says to me, looking as handsome as always.
"About?" I ask, acting like I'm not interested.
"Can I come in?" He asks, ignoring my question.
"Okay fine." I agree, moving away from the door so he can get in.
I close the door behind him and we sit on my bed.
"Yea?"
"So I um..." he says nervously and continues, "I've been receiving these death threats and I was just wondering if they're from you"
"You've been what?"I ask, not wanting an answer.
"I know it's crazy but-"
"Why would you think it's from me?"I ask, interrupting him.
Why would he blame me?
Does he not trust me?
"No it's not like that, I just really want to know who it is" he corrected.
"Let me read it"
He stands up and goes out the room to fetch it.
He takes about 3 minutes to come back, which makes me feel like he was thinking of wether he should show me or not.
But anyway-
