The banquet was yet cancelled and will be continued for a another time. Because Athanasia is still hesitant about what had happened into the Sapphire Palace and for Jennette's health so she postponed it for a while.
Athanasia's POV
"Sia." I heard Lucas calling me only then i realized that i was staring at the wall for a while now zoning out.
"Oh Love, you're here?" I asked him looking at his red ruby eyes
"Sia i think you need a rest." Lucas sat down next to me and kissed my forehead
"You are overworking yourself to the point that you haven't eaten anything for the day." Lucas worriedly said while i wondered how he knew about that.
"Perhaps i should. Luu? How is my Father? I would like to make a visit at him." I burried my face at Lucas' chest finding comfort and a gentle feeling.
"Gladly Sia, would you like me to accompany you there? I'm sure the previous Emperor Claude is also glad to see you again." He gently stroked my hair while he casted a warm spell keeping me comfortable.
Jennette's POV
I wonder what's going outside the palace..
Should i take a look?
I started to pack some things and took some of my pocket money and changed my clothes into casual clothes.
"Ms. Jennette, may i ask where are you going?" Cess asked me
"Oh well.. i want to go and take a look outside the palace. It's been awhile after i went outside." I smiled at cess
"Ah i see your majesty-"
"Please just call me Ms. Jennette or whatever you want it's rather uncomfortable with those formal speakings." I gave a smile once again at cess which made her sigh
"Alright Ms. Jennette, would you like me to accompany you? Or some knights? Her highness Athanasia strictly ordered us to keep an eye on you for your safety." Cess asked me waiting for an answer
"Uhm.. alright, you can come with me. And please tour me around, they said many things have changed into the market now." I replied smiling.
Soon we prepared the carriage, the market is quite far from the Palace so we need to use a carriage although i don't mind walking Cess insisted for my safety.
I started reading some books that i Carried when i heard Cess say
"Ms. Jennette we're almost there"
"Alright" i replied closing the book i read
We started walking while the carriage was parked at a nearby farm.
The sunny day and the warm breeze is the perfect combination as we walk. It was relaxing and nice. We soon reached the market it was beautiful. Kids running around, people dancing and more.
"Cess! Come, let's look for gifts!" I called for Cess as a certain giftshop had caught my eyes.
It was the same store before where i bought Athy a gift when we we're teens.
"Welcome to the Gift shop!" They greeted me
I saw some few jewelries and more. At the further back of the area there is sidionnian things just like before.
"This brings back memories.." i smiled to my self remembering the first time i came here.
