😨Karube x Fem!Reader💔Pt. 1

Summary: After playing 5 of Spades with Arisu and Karube, all of you had your visa caught up, except for Chota and Shibuki. After a near death experience, Karube doesn't allow you to play the next game with him and the others.

Warnings: Death of a character, depression, just me still feeling like absolute shii and not getting over his death

"Karube! Please don't go.." you felt your heart clench holding onto the boys hand. The man who you've been dating for two years now. The man who made your life better was about to leave you behind to go attend a game so Chota could get more days on his visa.

Before you were transferred into the borderlands, you were happy. You had two of the bestest friends and an amazing boyfriend. Yes, all four of you weren't living the life you'd thought you'd live. You were either still living with your parents or out working your butt off to earn money. But everything was alright. All of you were happy when y'all were all together. It was like all of your problems went away. That was until the boys were messing around while you were taking a video. The moment was just too wholesome to not take a video. Then the next thing you knew, you all were put into a world that was unrecognizable.

You loved chota with all your heart and you blame yourself for not being the last one to leave the room but you were scared of loosing all of them. Especially Karube.

"I have to. For chota. He needs visa to survive." You nodded understandingly but you still held his hand.

"Then let me go with you, please." Your arms wrapped themselves around his neck. You stood on your tippy toes to reach his height but he still towered over you.

"You can't. After the last game I will not be letting that happen." His arm slipped around your waist.

He remembered how scared he felt when he saw the shooter aim directly at you. How you were just a millimeter away from getting shot through the head. He felt his heart dropped when he saw the whole scene. Luckily though the girl with short hair and was really good at climbing had jumped down a floor and knocked the both of you down.

"Karube, I still made it out. I'm right here." You let go of him and backed up, doing a full twirl. Although you understood where he was coming from you just couldn't imagine waiting in the building that y'all stayed in while they got to go out and risk their life.

"You're not going." He sighed as he walked over to you after seeing the tears build up in your eyes. "Look, I'll be alright. I'll be safe and so will the others."

You sniffled as your face was buried in his chest. "You promise you'll come back? With no injuries? You'll come back just for me, yeah?"

Karube felt his heart ache seeing the tears flow out of your eyes. He knew he couldn't promise such a thing but he knew it'd make you feel better if he did.

"I promise."

A/N: I'm not fully happy with this one but at the same time I like it. I'm planning on making a part two to this so don't worry! I just couldn't write anymore cause I'm still pretty upset with his and Chota's death along with Shibuki :(( they deserved so much better and the fact that it keeps showing memories of Karube, Arisu, and chota. I can't help but ball my eyes out 😭😭💔 I hope you enjoyed this one! I have so many works in progress, so many unfinished one shots that I am so excited to finish. Some not even written yet but are ideas that I'm excited to write about! Love ya<3
