Charles comes home one day to find his girlfriend sitting on the couch with a little girl, who got dropped off at the door with a note claiming she was his.
What's gonna happen? Is the girl actually his? Will he choose to keep her? Is his girlfriend...
It was after fp2 and I was sitting in the garage with Faith sitting on my lap, she was playing with a wrench one of the crew gave her. I watched the crew work on the car, i smiled as all of them kept stopping and making faces at Faith to make her laugh. I smiled as I saw Pierre walking into the garage, he walked over to the counter I was sitting on and hopped up next to me.
"Care to explain why you have a kid with you." He said, I smiled at him, I told him the entire story, he listened carefully. "And you tell me sooner because?" He asked, "I didn't tell a lot of people just family and the team principal, I was gonna tell you but the past few days have kinda been a bit busy." I explained, Pierre nodded, "I get it, we'll good luck this weekend, I'll see you later, and you too Faith." He said, he grinned as Faith waved at him. We watched him walk away, "Well Faith let's head back to the hotel." I said standing up.

That night I lay on the bed staring up at the ceiling a million thoughts racing through my head. Faith was asleep on the bed next to me, as I turned to look at her I questioned wether it had really sunk in that I, Charles leclerc, was a dad. It didn't make sense, last week I was out drinking with my girlfriend not acting at all mature and now I'm single looking at my beautiful daughter, the thought of going drinking just because I feel like it sounds childish now.
I sighed and rolled over I checked my phone, I had a bunch of texts from different people asking who Faith was. I chose to ignore them and go to sleep.

The next day Faith and I were back at the track for a early fp3 then on to Q1, we had a good car and easily made it into Q2, then just barely made it into Q3. I wasn't to surprised when max got the pole, red bull was good, and he was coming off his second championship so I kinda expected him to do good. I wasn't to upset with the second row for starting it definitely could have been worse.
After Q3 I did a bunch of press, I avoided all questions about Faith, I realized I was gonna have to post something about her soon. After the media stuff I got Faith from my trainer who had been watching her.

I woke up to my alarm clock going off, I groaned and turned it off, I felt a bit of adrenaline go through me as I remembered it was race day. I hoped out of bed and took a shower I got dressed before getting Faith up and getting her dressed.
One hour and three YouTube videos later Faith was dressed with her hair as good as it was gonna get. Satisfied with my self I pulled out my phone and snapped a couple pictures. I picked my favourite and posted it.

I laughed and put my phone away and drove to the track. At the track i went over somethings with the team before doing some interviews, I had to answer a lot of questions about Faith. I then picked Faith up and walked to where all the drivers were meeting for the drivers parade. I was a little late so I was one of the last drivers to show up, immediately I was surrounded.
"Oh my goodness she's so cute!" Lando gushed, everyone agreed, "Just curious, you don't have to answer but who's the mom?" Max asked, a couple drivers nodded, "Wouldn't it be charlotte?" Fernando asked, max shakes his head, "Charles only met charlotte like two and a half years ago." Max pointed out, "Yeah it's not charlotte, gonna be honest I have no idea who her mother is, she doesn't look like me so I assume she looks like her mother. But she doesn't remind me of anyone so I'm gonna assume I was really drunk." I said, "Kids these days." Fernando muttered, "Well I am personally really happy with drunk Charles currently cause man is Faith cute." George said.
Faith stayed with during the driver parade, then I gave her to my trainer and started getting ready for the race.

The the lights went out and we were off racing, I was able to overtake in the first corner and move up to second place but it was apparent that max had a very good car as he was way out in front of me.
The race stayed like that majority of the time but in the last few laps, max locked up the tires slightly going into a corner giving me the opportunity to catch up a bit, we battled hard for the last couple laps but at the end of the day max had a faster car. I was pretty happy tho with a second place finish to start the season, first would have been better but at least I was on the podium.
I celebrated the podium with my team before going to the podium, I smiled and clapped as max was handed the trophy. I smiled as I saw my trainer standing off to the side with Faith, i crouched down and gestured for her to come join me. She happily ran to me and I picked her up and tossed her in the air before catching her and holding her tight. She looked out at the crowd in awe, "So many people." She said, I smiled and nodded, "See all the people in red." I pointed to some Ferrari fans, she nodded, "Those are all fans of me and Carlos." I said.
Max and Lewis who finished third, came over and started tickling and playing with Faith, we took some pictures before, parting ways and heading to interviews. I kept Faith with me and held her on my hip throughout the interviews, I was then led to a press conference with George, max, Lando, and Lewis.
I passed Faith to Lando who happily played with her on his lap, "my question is for Charles, do you think you racing has changed now that your a dad?" I thought about the question for a bit before answering, "I don't think my driving has necessarily changed, it might maybe I won't take as many risks I don't know it's the first race of the season I might have a different answer. As far as this race goes and I think even off track I'm more careful of my language, I haven't drunken as much, just small things like that." I explained, "That's impressive." Max said, I raised my eyebrows at him, "Yeah max is pretty much a dad and he drinks and swears just as much." Lando said, we all laughed.
