Once upon a time, there was a story of villainous friendships and twisted family ties that began after the supposed happily ever after. And so our twisted tale begins, spiraling away from the happily ever afters we all know.
You may wonder who these malevolent characters are. Whom do they fear? A woman scorned by her true love? A young girl deemed wicked due to powers beyond her control? There are more examples, but let's focus on these for now.
Our narrative takes root after their deaths - well, not all of theirs. In the realm of the Other Side, where supernatural beings reside after death, the powerful Qetsiyah was the first to arrive. One by one, others joined her in this mysterious limbo. What do these departed souls do while trapped between worlds? It's hard to believe, but it is during this time that our story truly unfolds.
Qetsiyah and Inadu were the first to form an unbreakable bond, from friendship to something akin to family. With each passing day, their sinister family grew with newcomers from the Other Side.
When Inadu and Ansel decided they had enough of death's grip, they returned to the land of the living in 1991. Inadu chose to raise her relative Andrea, while Ansel sought to reconnect with his son.
Meanwhile, Qetsiyah was revived by her descendant Abby Bennett, whom she had helped in dealing with Mikael. Deciding that they needed a proper family structure for their relative Bonnie, Qetsiyah and Sheila Bennett took on the task in Mystic Falls.
Thus began this extraordinary journey of unexpected connections between Qetsiyah, Sheila, Bonnie and their neighbors Inadu, Ansel and Andrea. Here commences a tale woven with nefarious characters trying to create a semblance of family rooted in darkness and unfathomable power.
