Evening at home (fluff)

"Hey James you okay?"
James walked Into the flat to me sitting on the sofa in my black jumper dress, knee high socks and my short brown hair down, I was watching YouTube while eating snacks.

"yeah I'm just not feeling myself today"

I paused my video to face him, he looked so upset.

"Aw james what's wrong?" I placed my snacks down and patted on the sofa next me signalling him to sit and talk.

"I don't want to talk about it my mental health just isn't doing okay."

James sat next to me and layed back, I didn't know what to do I'm not very good at confronting people but I really want to help.

"Come here" I tapped my lap for him to lay down which he did without a second thought. I leaned back and placed my hand on his head stroking his hair my god his hair is soft.

"I know you're not okay but don't worry you're doing great and I'm so proud of you and I know a few other people who are proud of you aswell, take your time and just breathe I'll be right here when you need me and I'll still be here when you don't. Just relax you don't need to do anything if there is anything you want just let me know"

I continued to stroke his soft dark hair as I continued to tell me its okay not to be okay. I just wanted him to help him feel calm but I did it a bit too much as he ended up falling asleep on my lap after having a cry.
Even a man like himself needs to take some time for himself to take a break.

After a few hours James awoke not realising he fell asleep on me.

"Thank you" he whispered as he kissed my head.
I had fallen asleep comforting him so he decided to to get a blanket and lay me onto him on the sofa and play chess on his phone while I slept. He was so warm and soft I couldn't help cuddling into the large man next to me.

We spent the rest of the night asleep on the sofa, I was so comfortable I didn't every want to ever leave.
