ONE

It was another school morning, Ji-woo was eating breakfast with her dad as they had a little talk until Ji-seok came running downstairs.
"We gotta go, otherwise we'll be late" Ji-woo nodded at this and bid goodbye to her dad as her brother did the same.

"Ji-seok! Yah!" their dad called out, only to realize his son was already gone. "That brat didn't even eat anything, more for me"

Ji-woo and her brother were walking to Wu-jin's house to pick him up and walk to school together, as that was their daily routine. A little while later they were finally walking to school.

"Hand in your phones." Ms.Park said as everyone began to walk to the front of the class to put their phone into the box. "Anybody in touch with Hyeon-ju?" the classroom went silent "nobody? None of you tried calling her?" Ms.Park asked. "We cleaned the science lab together yesterday, but I haven't seen her since" Joon-yeong informed the teacher. "Okay..If anyone hears from her, let me know right away okay?" The teacher asked and "yes ma'ams" were heard.

"Exams start next week so get your acts together" Ms.Park said while doing something on her phone, until a sound of a phone was heard and the teacher looked up from her phone "I heard it" "why didn't you silence your phone?" "Hand over your real phones" everyone began laughing, including Ji-woo who smiled. "On-jo, this is your phone from last year. Take it"

"Anyone wanna have a crack at this?, Huh?" Ms.Park said as she looked around, "Class president?" "The truth is, all of us have some sort of prejudice. We all have preconceptions about other people" Nam-ra finished "Hmm, okay. Nice" the teacher complemented as she looked at Su-hyeok "Next, Bare-su. Stand up" as he stood up "Why are you Bare-su?" "It's short for Barefoot Su-hyeok. Bare-su." Yoon-jeong answered.

"Okay, Bare-su. What did Nam-ra just say?" "Well..." "He doesn't know. He has no idea" "She was absolutely correct" Su-hyeok finished as the class laughed. "So what was her absolutely correct interpretation?"
Ms.Park asked. Ji-woo smiled as she saw Su-hyeoks face.

The class went silent as they saw Hyeon-ju at the door all bloody as if she was beaten up, Ji-woo immediately ran to her side to ask her if she was okay, but she collapsed in the Choi girls arm "Hey. What's wrong? Are you okay?" Ji-woo asked as the whole class was now looking at the scene. Ms.Park took the bloody girl into her arms "Ms.Park" Hyeon-ju began "Yes it's me. Do you recognize me?" "He grabbed me..the science teacher grabbed me and locked me up." The girl finished "He locked you up? The science teacher? Mr. Lee byeong-chan? Huh?"

"He tied me up..." The girl began again "Just shut up, okay?" The teacher said as she pulled the girl to her chest. "Nam-ra, have them study." Murmuring was heard around the class. "Stay quit while I go and check"

While Su-hyeok, On-jo and I-sak were at the infirmary with Ms.Park, Nam-ra and Ji-woo were sitting next to eachother as everyone else was talking about the situation. I-sak came back to class and everyone started asking her questions. "It's no joke. She was biting people..." "Where's On-jo?" Cheong-san asked "She got hurt" I-sak answered"Where? How bad is it?" "Just a little bit"

"Hyeon-ju bit her?" Hyo-ryung asked "I think she went crazy. Her temperature is low. But she said she was hot. She tried to bite us when we covered her" I-sak finished "Does she have rabies?" Wu-jin asked
"But Hyeon-ju had a strange smell." "What smell?" "The same as the science teacher" "A rotten corpse" Na-yeon said "yes that. And she said he gave her a weird shot" "what a total psycho"

"Shouldn't we report this to the police?" "I don't know Ms.Park said she'd handle it. What the.." I-sak said as she looked at Nam-ra "she's studying right now. She's number one in our school" Ji-woo took Nam-ra's hand and squeezed it "don't listen to them" she whispered to her best friend.
