The difference in technology does not faze me. After all the main plane is the most advanced of them all. As Clark , I who was once called Lovia, worked an engineer for a tech company. At this point, meeting Isa again felt too impossible. Even with my higher level of knowledge, I ended up with a pretty mundane and average job, regained ownership of my old house in this plane.
I got pretty relaxed, bought myself a phone and a laptop. It felt as though I belonged here. That this was all it would ever be. That I would never meet Isa again, either as a man or a woman, and if I did I would not remember her. However, my hope peaked when I met her again.
I hoped that I could make her remember. And I hoped that if she remembered she would be willing to come with me.
