an: tyyysmmmmm for all the nice comments iv gotten on ao3 and wattpad, you guys motivate me so much and the story is practically over but not yet, after this chapter is one more. The story does have a dark turn- sorry not sorry.

     Kikimora smiled, she had an opportunity. She had heard that oath all those years ago. Perhaps this could be an opportunity. Perhaps, even she could become the new guard!

      "I'll be back in a moment, traitor," she called to him while creating chains to the couple, then walking out of his room.

       Y/N stood dumbshock, then shook herself, tears gone, now attempting to escape. Wriggling her wrists, her arm managed to slide out of the chains while Hunter struggled.

       "What are we going to do?" he whispered to himself and Y/N.

       "Get out of here- we can escape together!" she said while working on her other chain.

        Hunter didn't budge for a moment, then wondered what would happen when Belos would find them. He would hurt her. Would h- of course he would.

      They would have to esca- no. She would have to. Belos wouldn't harm him. He wouldn't. He ignored his injury on his cheek.

     Y/N stared at him wistfully then stated akwardly, "yknow Hunter, if we um manage to escape together and stuff, can we promise to get married?"

     His heart shattered like glass, "I-uhm- well-sure?" he stammered not sure what even to do, like he forgot how to breathe. 

     She freed her other hand, then cast a spell to remove Hunter's chains, gripped his hands between hers and cast a spell, the purple glow of the everlasting oath shined brightly, "We'll be married if w-" Y/N began before their hands started sparking and the spell circle turned a neon orange. 

     A sizzling sound accompanied the orange, then smoke, Y/N looked confused but then screamed in pain when she got burned on her arm.

     "Y/N- are you okay- its my fault I should have told you about Belo's oa-" Hunter said worriedly.

     Y/N ignored the pain and her eyes snapped to his, "what about this 'Belos oath'?" she asked.

     "Nevermind." he said quietly, his uncle could be cruel- but he probably um just had a reason and he didn't want to expose him.

     "Dont you 'Nevermind' me, no more hiding secrets, I thought you freaking knew this, and I got hurt because of you!" her anger boiled and she let out.

    "If you like Belos so much you can have your ass stay with him!" she screeched before leaping toward the window to leave him, only to be restrained by kikimora once more.

    "Oh dear, don't you know that I was watching?" then she let out a disgusting cackle.

    The tiny bratty demon led them in chains to the emperor's room while they stayed silent.

    Thump.   Thump.  They could hear the large heart from outside the doors.

     Kikimora dismissed the door guards and then walked in, "Emperor, I've brought t-" she began then was cut off.

     "Shoo Kikimora," he said annoyed, there weren't enough grimwalker ingredients and C-Hunter betrayed him- he would just have to punish him...

      Kikimora looking disappointed swiftly let go of the prisoners in the room and walked out, closing the door.

      "Tsk Tsk Tsk..." Belos sighed, his form bubbling. He would have to control himself...He lent out a gooey arm to grab the couple, "Hunter, is this what I get for taking you in? Betrayal?"

     "I know what bad things youv'e done, you think you can get away with it!" Y/N screamed and struggled to get out, Hunter laid limp putting his head down.

     "Shut up, now Hunter answer me!"

     Silence.

     Belos rolled his eyes annoyed and mad, then with a motion of his hands Y/N was in a cage.

      "Uncle- let her go please!" he pleaded him tears beginning to spill out of his eyes.

     "This is your punishment, you stabbed me in the back.." then he snapped and her body stiffened.

      Y/N panicked, was she being petrified? She stared down at her legs which was now solid rock, then shouted, "H-Hunter I'm sorry!"

    It spread.

    Hunter was now panicked, tears dropping down on the floor, he flailed around but was stuck in chains, "Y-Y/N! Please uncle no!"

     Belos had already walked out of the room.

     Y/N whispered something that Hunter barely heard, "I love y-"

     His chains disappeared, and he hurried to the cage to see his girlfriend frozen in stone, he screamed her name and knelt to the floor with shame..

     This was his fault. He had disobeyed his uncle. He had met with Y/N. 

      His fists clenched, lost with grief, he decided that nothing would ever go wrong again if he listened to his uncle.. Right?
