Chapter:8- True Nature

Victor's POV:

I can't beleive what I am seeing infront of me right now..I know Porchay is in danger and the situation is critical, but the scene I'm looking at is really shocking. Never in my lifetime I could have imagined this to happen.

Thankun Therapanyakul, the love of my life, the sassy queen is gearing up to go fight and rescue Porchay..I mean, Porchay is very important to him and I know that. But him going into fights and a rescue mission is out of my imagination or thought..I have always thought Tan was traumatised because of his kidnapping in the past and that he remained to stay behind the shadows. But seeing him right now is making me think otherwise.And what did he mean by true nature? What was he hiding from me?

"Tan..are you sure?"

"Yes..Can you tell you man to come inside? I want to lead this mission."

He wants to take the lead?!!! I was shocked and yet remained silent..For now I will just follow what he says and when everything is over, me and him, we will need a long talk.I gathered everyone in the room and mostly they were surprised when I told them to follow Thankun..That was expected..

Our men gathered at the meeting room and Tan started briefing the plan of action..

"Listen up everyone...the north team will take out the guards from the back. The south team are gonna make sure the grounds are secured and cleared and lastly, Victor, you and your team will lead me to Ivan Volkov and Albina..And let me remind and warn two things."

He looked at everyone, including me..And his eyes had these flames in them and god it was hella scary..Most of my men were scared and I liked it..They should get used to obeying my lover's commands..Afterall he is going to be their future boss.

"No one...I repeat, no one will touch Ivan or Albina. They are mine..And secondly, no one leaves without Porchay...I want him safe and sound..Is that clear?"

"Yes sir."

Everyone answered in unsion and I just nodded. There is something going on that I'm unaware off..And I'm not liking it.

"Arm will be our eyes in the air and Pol, I want you to track those two bastards movement."

"Now move...We leave in 10."

Everyone left the room and only me and Tan was left..Even I had to get ready..So I started heading out until he grabbed my hands and pulled me into a hug...One moment he was like he could kill everyone in his room and now he's acting all cute and clingly...Wow his duality..How can I even get angry when he's like this..

"Asahi."

"Yes my butterfly."

I patted his head and he looked up from my chest...His eyes had fear..maybe fear of me being angry with him..Well certainly I'm confused and curious to what's doing on here...but I can never be angry with my cute lover..

"I know you have a lot of questions..Can I clear them when we get back?"

"Hmm..It's okhay.."

"I love you...please be safe..Don't get hurt."

He placed a small kiss on my forehead and snuggled into my shoulders...He's really worried about me...whereas I should be the one to be worried..I don't even know what stunts he's gonna pull today..

"This is what I should say to you, my crazy butterfly."

"It's show time."

We headed out to the outskirts of the city...The Volkov mansion was at the end of the forest and it was well guarded..So we couldn’t just ride in and attack..It wasn’t that easy..Thankfully Arm could hack into their system and our men killed those bastards efficiently and without any doubts..So our path was clear.
