Nobody's pov: The ball is in a random room in the castle/auradon prep, which is large as fuck. It's decorated in light blues and white, there's a few tables in the back left corner with drinks and food, and in the back right corner there's a kind of "gift shop" thing which was a lot of kid's favorite part as there was some nice gifts for their partners or their bsfs.
Mals pov: Me and Evie arrive at the dance and she spots the drinks and food and basically drags me over there with her "E, calm down!" I say She doesn't answer just looks back at my and slightly laughs, i dont know what she's laughing at but obviously something funny. My hair is done up like this

Which Evie styled, hence why it looks so pretty. When we get to the drinks Evie gets us both a drink and we sit down at a table. After a few minutes we see Jane and Carlos walk in! We stare over at them. Janes dress suits her so well. Jay decided not to come as he has a lot of homework thag he forgot to do and has nobody to bring as Lonnie left the school for a month or two, he could've come alone but he said he doesn't want to seem like a loner which i kinda get. "Evie?" I say "Yes lovely?" She replys "Do you want to tell Jay and Carlos about us? It's up to you I really don't mind" I ask her "Yea I feel like they'd support and we tell them everything so I'm sure it would've slipped out anyways" she laughs "True true, we could tell Carlos now? If ur ok with Jane also knowing" "Yea let's go" she says pulling me towards Jane and Carlos I go with her. "Hey you two" she says "Oh hi Evie, and mal" Carlos says "Hi" i say "Sooo whaats up" he says "Nothing muchh, but we do have some news" Evie looks at me when she says this and I smile at her "Oo tell!" Jane says "Wellll" "Well?" Carlos says "Uh, how do i say this?" Evie says and looks at me "It's not that hard E, me n Evie are dating" I say "Wait really?" Carlos says, in a supporting way Evie looks zoned out or something, she's definitely thinking of something. "Yes, we made it official an hour ago I think" I say
Evie's pov: After mal told Carlos I start to get this worry that carlos won't support and then I got made it up in my head and when I came back to earth, my eyes were watering and I immediately hugged mal, I heard carlos say he and jane both supported but that didn't change what I had just made up in my head. Me and mal left and went to our dorm, we're going to tell Jay tmr, at the moment I have to calm down. We get back to the dorm and lay down on Mals bed, i cuddle into her. Mal puts on the tv and after a few minutes I fall asleep. The next morning, I wake up still in Mals arms, she notices im awake and she looks at me "Morning E" she says looking at me "Morning" I say back to her School had ended for a few weeks, hence the dance yesterday. Although it's Saturday I'm still glad we don't have school. I get up and get ready and we go to carlos and jays dorm, their both playing video games and don't acknowledge us. "Ahem?" Mal says slightly annoyed "Oh hey ladies" Jay says, typical Jay "Hey you two" Carlos says with a weird look Mal stares at him "Whats going on?" Jay says clueless "We got some newss" mal says, gripping my hand "Do tell" Jay says "We're dating" I say with a confident voice "I knew it!" Jay said
Mals pov: Jay knew about my feelings for Evie, hes somehow good with that sort of stuff, I don't understand how but whatever. Evie seemed calmer telling people now than last night, I feel she imagined them not supporting because that's what all of out parents are like, my mum, Evie's mum, Carlos' mum and jays dad, they all are homophobic, so I see why she freaked out like that last night, she doesnt even need to tell me what's wrong I can usually tell, if the scene gives off the right clues which it usually does! Me Evie Jay and Carlos go on a walk, just to the beach to watch the sunset.
